- “APOLLO” boat service - On this tour you will go in front of the Old Town on a traditional fishing boat Metla with a local fishermen, and experience what it’s like to pull out the net and catch fish with longlines.
This tour has to be booked at least 2 days in advance as the nets have to be prepared in advance.
You will get a chance to fish yourself and take a part of the catch home with you. Duration of the tour is around 2 hours but can be adjusted according to your wishes.
On the boat you will get a sandwich and drinks to refresh from being a Dubrovnik fisherman.

Awesome unique experience. - My 12 yr old son and I had an amazing time on this trip. A rare opportunity to fish with traditional techniques that are sadly being lost as the number of fishermen with these skills dwindles. Learned a lot about fishing and Dubrovnik in general from Vlaho and his mate Orso, who carry a great deal of passion for their craft. Do follow his directions to make soup with the fish that you bring home - delicious. Thank you Vlaho and Orso.

Great net fishing experience - Great experience. Gritty, hands on net fishing experience. Great captain. Refreshments provided. I went with my 8 year old son and it was appropriate. Could also be good for adults

Must do trip … great photo opportunities - Very informative trip, young captain (Neon?) was very nice to our grandson and let him “steer” the boat. Nice leisurely pace and great value for money.

Beautiful experience - It was a beautiful adventure. It is winter so we went fishing 🎣. Really exciting. Vlaho is the best guide you can imagine. We could keep a fish we caught. Excellent experience. I strongly recommend it. It's not all about Dubrovnik, it's about people like Vlaho who make you feel welcomed.🤗
