Dubrovnik: Lokrum Island and Betina Cave Boat Tour - Highly recommended for anyone interested in exploring Lokrum Island. It was a wonderful experience to sunbathe on the nudist beach. A great catch-up before the sunset at St. Jacobs Beach.

Nice, half-day boat tour - It is a nice half-day boat tour with three stops, at Lokrum Island, St Jacob Beach and Bettina Cave Beach. It is more like a hop on-hop off boat experience and our capatins were both nice and professional. Don't forget to take your swimming suit with you to this tour!

Good value for money - This was a great ferry ride that included a lot of sights for not too expensive. Our captain was great too! I really enjoyed the 2-hour stop on Lokrum Island, there were a lot of coves and places to swim, you can even swim in the Dead Sea! I wish there was a bit more time spent at Jacob’s beach for tanning, and the waves were super high at Betina Cave the day I went so we didn’t swim much there either (unless you’re an insanely strong swimmer). I was also the only solo traveler, I was hoping there would’ve been a few more in their late 20s! Overall great value and I had a really great time!

Don’t miss this trip - We went on a small boat, with about 8 other people. The boat ride itself was great - it was absolutely beautiful and fun to hit a couple different beaches and the charming little Lokrum island (botanical gardens, chapel, and peacocks roaming freely). It would have been nice if the driver of the boat were engaging, but all in all, a very worthwhile trip.

Lokrum was great! In some other areas I would temper expectations - Lokrum island exceeded expectations. There is a lot to do and see on the island, although it is an eclectic mix of things. For instance in the monastery there was a random exhibit on bats, the crusades, and the throne from Game of Thrones. All cool, but unexpected. We went early (9AM group) and it was cool to be among the first on the island that day. Really liked the hike to the fort and swimming by the rocks as well. Our tour listed it was a glass bottom boat, but it is not. Also, it appears to be one of the more affordable tours, but there is a 30 Euro additional island charge to enter, so it was more pricey than initially expected (although that was on the details of the tour that we had overlooked when booking). Also, for snorkeling equipment, it is just the mask and a barebones snorkel that you can use in the swimming beach at the second stop… so don’t have visions of amazing snorkeling experience when booking, but I did enjoy the crystal clear waters.

Could have been more flexible - The price on the surface was a little misleading because the price to enter. The island was nearly the price of the the tour. It would’ve been nice if they gave you multiple time options to return to the boat. Each excursion felt slightly rushed, and I would’ve liked to have spent more time there. The same tour could’ve been achieved by simply walking to the cave and the beach ourselves and taking a water taxi to the island and it would’ve been much more relaxing on our time.

Do not book. - The tour itself was lovely, however we arrived 10 minutes before the booked time at 11am, so we arrived and picked up our tickets at 10.50. And was told to wait about 30 metres away for the rest of the group to arrive and the lady would come and get us, however at 11.15 we went to check how much longer and she acted like she didn't know who we were, then had to call a boat back for us to board, our original boat left without us. Very strange as we spoke and paid for the island fees not long before. Had to remind her of our booking. Seemed not to care. The second boat from Lokrum the captain was great, however he did leave a girl at the spot on her own as she was just over 5 minutes late. A nice tour but would not recommend. Could find better. But the beauty of the place is the only reason I could give 3 stars as the organisers were awful, the places are beautiful though but that's all that's good with this tour. For an organisation a little more care should happen.

Tour cancelled at the last minute - Unfortunately our tour was cancelled at the last minute so we couldn’t go. We were offered a time later in the day that we couldn’t do.
