Additional Information

An exclusive and guided tour of Dublin’s major whiskey and beer establishments, riding in style, highlighting the city’s renowned produce - Jameson Whiskey and Guinness Beer. This is a city exploration with a focus on whiskey (and beer), led by your dedicated Whiskey Expert Host who will animate the city for you as you journey through various Dublin neighborhoods. The tour is entirely for you and your travel mates, although the Jameson Distillery Bow St. tour is a mixed group, and the Guinness Storehouse tour is exclusive to your party.

Our first stop is the Guinness Storehouse, where we arrive just after 10am, before the crowds. We ensure that you don’t have to indulge in beer tasting if it feels a bit too early, instead, your Host will provide a personal tour of the Guinness Storehouse. After that, we go over the River Liffey to Smithfield – the birthplace of Jameson Irish Whiskey. Your Host will escort you around the area, revealing the secrets of Jameson’s history, before joining the Bow St. Experience tour.

Amazing private group tour of Guinness and Jameson in Dublin - The tour company operator (John) was very easy to work with and accommodating as our group expanded. The tour guide Tiernen was awesome and added a lot of information that enhanced our tour over an above what you would get on a public self-guided your. . Great tour and would highly recommend this company.

White glove service - What an amazing way to experience Guinness and Jameson. John who coordinated our excursion, as well as our guide for the day was absolutely amazing to work with. He insured that we had the best experience. We did the tour along with our teenager. she was treated so respectfully, and they went out of their way to ensure that she had a meaningful experience without the alcohol. It was a very personalized tour of both locations. You could obviously do these tours on your own through the companies. But he provided background and information that was not provided by the tour guides. He picked us up at our hotel and gave us a lovely tour into town. At each location there were no lines for us to wait in and we were immediately taken through. He gave us a personalized tour of the Guinness location along with a few little ins and outs, that we never would’ve noticed on our own. The same for the Jamison distillery. he has a true knowledge of Irish history and Irish whiskey history. He also provided us with recommendations for restaurants for dinner during our stay in Ireland. Although you could do these tours through the companies, this is the way to do it. Five star service all the way through. knowledgeable guide, and a truly unique view of the history of Ireland’s distilleries. we wasted no time on parking, lines, and every minute of our tour was filled with knowledge and activities. Highly recommended, even if you have children with you. His inside knowledge of the beer and spirits made the tastings, more meaningful and enjoyable. Worth every penny spent.

The best of Guinness & Jameson - We had a private tour with our fabulous host, John, of both Guinness and Jameson whiskey. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave us insights that regular tours can’t provide. What a great way to experience both places. I highly recommend John as your guide to get the most out of your tours!

Outstanding Private Tour!!! - The wife and I had an amazing time with John, he was early to pick us up from our hotel, he is a wealth of knowledge, he is very easy to talk to, funny, and patient, and he did not rush us at any time. This was the very best tour/sightseeing trip we have taken, we did not have to wait in long lines we were able to get right in for our tour, and the best part is John did our whole tour at the Guinness Storehouse and Jameson Distillery!!! I suggest 100% taking this tour with John!!!

Great experience with John - Great experience with John! He contacted me before to confirm details and pick up location. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. It was also nice to have all of the logistics of the tours handled. He also gave us a great recommendations for eating and rugby-watching. Well worth the cost.

Fantastic morning with John Cannely-extremely knowledgeable about Dublin, & all things Guinness & Jameson! - Our guide for our Guinness and Jameson tours John Cannely epitomized the best of white glove service. As we drivevthrough Dublin he shared much of the area’s history especially about the architecture which I found to be fascinating. He is an expert not only on the actual distilling process, but also made the whole process really come to life. When we were doing the Guinness tasting, he walked us around pointing out important landmarks including the Church that is the starting place for those walking the Paseo. At Jameson, he introduced us to a delightfully refreshing drink of a shot of jameson over ice, add ginger ale, and a twist of lime. The Jameson tour guide did a great job and we had a chance to taste three great whiskeys. Before we left, however, John arranged for us to have a taste of their Middleton whiskey which is very rare and costs about 200 pounds per bottle if you can find it. Amazing. Where John went over and beyond was helping us when all the trains from Belfast to Dublin were cancelled due to work on the line. He reached out to his network and secured a ride for us to Newley where we could pick up the train to Dublin. His great service didn’t stop there. He sent us a list of his 10 favorite restaurants in Dublin. Thank you John for an extraordinary day and for helping us out of a major mess
