GLENDALOUGH, WICKLOW AND KILKENNY TOUR FROM DUBLIN INCLUDING SHEEPDOG TRAILS - This tour was an excellent way to see sights outside of Dublin. The buses arrived on time, the stops were well-spaced, and our tour guide, Peter, was both informative and entertaining; this is the main reason to take a tour. It is possible to get there by car, but it is not the same thing. The sheepdog herding was especially impressive. Overall, excellent.

Great way of discovering Ireland - We had a great day with our guide Sean and our driver Steven. This is a good way of seeing the nature of the island and to visit another city than Dublin. We received lot of interesting and fun facts as well as some really nice tips for Dublin. A day well spent

We were only 2 in the tour... - No one else booked the tour from our cruise ship, so my husband and I received a "private" tour that day. Finn Tour could have canceled the tour given we were just 2 (and some of the tours we looked at when planning our cruise reserve the rights to cancel if not enough reservations), but they did not which we greatly appreciate. This is a professional tour company! Glendalough is an amazing place - our tour guide gave us advise on which trail to do within the time we had. He also got us at the site before all other bus tours (including our cruise ship tours :)); we felt alone in the place. Ask for the sheepdog show from your tour guide - it was very interesting and funny. He drove us to Bray for lunch. Then back in Dublin and pointed out major sites (which we got to see the next day as our ship did an overnight at Dublin). Note that they are concerned to get you back on time to the cruise ship, so do not worry when booking with them. Finally, note that the start time of the tour was 8:30 am for us. I was confused when i booked as it said 7am. But you get an email a few days before the tour to confirm the time. Enjoy!
