Beautiful church - We weren't on a guided tour and just walked around on our own. It's a beautiful church and very well maintained. It had a bit of construction going on inside when we visited. My favourite part was the crypt in the basement. It's so neat to see all the artifacts and statues. The cat in the rat was very unique and stuck with me the most.

Have you ever rung the bells? - Very interesting visit, fantastic ringing the bells. Tom, our guide: very nice, competent and with perfect English: even the boys understood everything without effort!

Favorite guide Tom, also fascinating location and history. - We loved our visit to this beautiful church. We happened upon Tom, a guide who gave us a tour at St. Michen’s Church the day before. Our whole family enjoyed that tour with him throughly. He was kind enough to show us a few things at Christchurch. He’s a wonderful and enthusiastic tour guide. He honestly made our time in Dublin top notch. Would highly recommend a visit to this Church, ask for Tom and tell him we say hello!

Very Impressive Ancient Church - Upon entering the church I I received an immediate feeling of emotional and spiritual uplifting. Architecturally the design of the building is a wonderful work of art. My wife and both enjoyed fine detail of the chapel and other wall space. The staff were very helpful, especially Tashika. Her kindness and enthusiasm was contagious. If we visit Dublin again we’ll be certain to drop in.

Don’t forget the crypt downstairs - Beautiful cathedral inside and out. We bought the combined ticket with Dublinia for a little discount. We ate fish and chips (takeout from across the street) on a bench in the garden to take in the splendor of the exterior cathedral. They are doing some restoration projects so there is scaffolding inside and out. Gorgeous interior and many treasures in the crypt.

Beautiful architecture - I like visiting old churches and Christ Church is no exception. Lovely place, beautiful floor tiles, and a rather disturbing display of a desicated cat and rat that had been discovered in one of the organ's pipes during one of the repairs. (!) Very large crypt, apparently unusual for the area due to the high water table. Interesting displays of the church's plate, and some costumes from the show "Reign" - some scenes were filmed here. I found it fascinating - maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. (Didn't take photos of the interior, just the beautiful flowers in the garden outside.)

Very nice - Very characteristic church, which encloses various styles of the various historical periods that it has gone through. The audio guide does not work very well
