Additional Information

With the onset of winter, Dubai Miracle Garden starts another season, impressing visitors with an explosion of over 150 million blooming flowers spread across 72,000 square meters. Becoming one of the most appealing and fragrant attractions of the region, this paradise of flowers was initially established about nine years ago, coincidentally, on the day of love, Valentine’s.

In 2013, the highly respected Guinness World Records recognized Dubai Miracle Garden for its massive vertical garden, and again in 2016, it received an accolade for the largest floral sculpture in the form of an Airbus A380. Two years thereafter, they created a record by constructing the highest topiary structure globally. This 18-meter sculpture, adorned with 100,000 flowers and plants, was the first-ever Disney character floral display in the Middle East and was officially endorsed, weighing almost 35 tons.

A super morning visit - A great place to visit. The floral displays are on another level and very easy to walk around. Plenty of shops where you can buy souvenirs and food and drink. Only negative is the people who keep pestering for photos and trying to attempt you into the shops. Other than that I enjoyed the experience. Don't think I would return now that I have been there.

Tourist trap - The gardens were impressive at first, but then you realise that they are the same types of flowers on rotation over big structures...it really is a bit of a tourist trap. One word of warning....its a long way from the metro and has no WiFi (what tourist attractions don't have WiFi in this day and age?!) So if you get there by taxi, as a foreigner we had no way of booking a taxi back. There are some hala taxis outside but there are also some taxis that will try to rip you off (quoted £200 equivalent for a 10 minute taxi ride). Would I go again - no, its a money making exercise with tacky shops and vendors around the Perimeter. There are better ways of spending your money!

Aggressive Staffs and security - I felt compelled to share a recent experience at the garden that I visited with my family. While the garden itself is indeed wonderful, I must express my concerns regarding the vendors in the form of a buffet and their persistent attempts to sell their products to visitors. This constant solicitation was rather disconcerting for us, and unfortunately, the staff members displayed an aggressive attitude towards tourists, which was quite unexpected. During our visit, there was an incident where my three-year-old daughter was sitting on a small wall, and a security guard approached her in a rather unfriendly manner, instructing her to move with unnecessary force. This encounter left us quite unsettled as we had never encountered such a situation before in Dubai. Additionally, we encountered a cleaner using a leaf blower in our direction, despite our request for them to stop, which was rather disappointing. Overall, the experience made me feel like I was in a different country altogether, rather than the welcoming and hospitable Dubai that I am accustomed to. I believe that such incidents should not be commonplace in a city that prides itself on its hospitality and tourism offerings. It is my sincere hope that the Dubai government looks into these matters to ensure the comfort and safety of all visitors to such attractions. Based on this experience, I would urge caution and recommend avoiding the "Magical Garden Dubai" until necessary actions are implemented to address these concerns.
