Highlights

A default must to do tour while visiting Dubai & depart Dubai and drive to the surrounding desert for an adventure tour with your family or friends. Leave in the afternoon to cross the red sands and dunes of
Lahbab before the sun sets.

Drive by 4x4 Land Cruiser and stop at the highest dune to watch the sunset over the horizon. Take great pictures of the desert & sunset. Continue to a desert camp to enjoy the desert activities. Get on the camel and get some pictures & try your hand at sand boarding down the dune. Also henna tattoo (removable) on your hands or feet.

Watch traditional Arabic entertainments, such as a belly dance show and the whirling dancers of a tanoura show. Smoke a shisha water pipe (
hooka) before you are served a barbecue buffet dinner of authentic Arabic cuisine in the middle of the desert. Return to your waiting vehicle for the journey back to Dubai.

This tour is led by an expert guide and all details are transparently pre-communicated. The tour begins with a 50-minute drive through the desert, providing incredible views of Dubai. The first stop is at a rest area in the desert where you can opt for quad bike or buggy rides. To ensure better driving conditions, the safari guide will deflate the vehicles tires. A thrilling 20-30 minute ride across the desert dunes follows, offering gorgeous 360-degree views of the desert as the sun sets. Upon arrival at the camp, guests are welcomed with Qahwa (Arabic coffee), dates, and Lugamat (a traditional sweet). As darkness descends, a delightful BBQ dinner - featuring kebabs, hummus, salads, accompanied by sodas, water, and other drinks from the bar, awaits. The evening ends with live entertainment including belly dancing, tanoura dance & fire dance, before returning to the hotel.

Day trip to Liwa and the Empty Quarter - A friend and I took a day trip from Abu Dhabi to Liwa and the Empty Quarter. The trip cost included a private car and guide. We had an absolutely lovely day. Our guide Shah was fun and engaging, and took plenty of time to teach us about both the history and current life in the region, and to share his own love of the desert. We saw date farms, camels, Liwa town, Tel Moreeb dune, forts, experienced an immersive dune drive and had a great lunch. We'd recommend this tour and guide to anyone who has a day to explore the desert, and hope to return ourselves for a longer trip. Well worth the cost. The company was easy to communicate with and to book, and everything ran very smoothly on the day of the trip. No problems at all.
