Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo shines a light on the wonders of the ocean depths and presents one of the richest assortments of marine life globally. It houses over 33,000 water-dwelling creatures and boasts the world’s largest collection of sand tiger sharks.
- Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo - The Aquarium Tank is the first thing you’ll see before entering the Aquarium. It is one of the world’s largest suspended aquariums and holds 10-million-liters. Home to 300 sharks and rays, this tank gives visitors an idea of the adventures the aquarium holds inside.
DUBAI AQUARIUM :
Walk through a 48-meter-long aquarium tunnel that lets you explore the diversity of marine species that inhabit the open ocean. If you’re lucky, you might even see divers feeding sharks and rays.
UNDERWATER ZOO :
Once you’re outside the tunnel, take the escalator up to the 2nd floor, where the Underwater Zoo awaits you. You’ll find 40 displays of aquatic animals: from seahorses to crocodiles, you’ll see them all! As you enter, you’ll be asked to pose for a photograph with an underwater background. Proceed further inside, where the Underwater Zoo splits into three zones: Rainforest, Rocky Shore and Living Ocean.
