Hidden Gem in Ireland - Absolutely wonderful exhibit and museum. A must see when visiting Downpatrick and St. Patrick’s Country! The cafe and gardens were lovely and the food was delicious. The exhibit was informative and brief. And the gift shop was reasonable and full or Irish craft. Will go again if in Downpatrick in the future!

Interesting history of St Patrick - A trip back in time to understand more about St Patrick, his personal life, his work and after his death. A good number of written items and Audi /videos to make this an interesting exhibition.

Top Tier Irish Attraction - The Saint Patrick Centre is an amazing exhibit in one of the most beautiful towns in Northern Ireland. The exhibit was informative and the staff was fantastic to both myself and my group over the course of the two weeks that I worked with them. The proximity to the most important sights to Saint Patrick can't be beat. The knowledge and direction that I gained from Centre staff made my trip to Northern Ireland the most intriguing bit of travel that I've done in my life thus far. Would Highly recommend.

St. Patrick Visit - The St. Patrick's Centre is a fantastic place to visit in Downpatrick. It does an amazing job of educating you about the pilgrimage and patronage of St. Patrick and you can feel the impact he had on the world as you walk through the exhibit. The interactive videos and props that are left in the exhibit allowed me to fully understand the time of St. Patrick as I saw what he did during his daily life. The rest of the center is equally as fantastic as the staff provides useful information for sights around the area.

Immersive and informative - The St. Patrick Centre was an absolute delight. The kind staff was ready at hand when I had questions and were very knowledgeable about the centre. The beautiful architecture was charmingly surrounded by greenery and made for a very relaxing cup of tea in the garden. The museum part brought a new light to apparent lack of knowledge of Saint Patrick. Although they were very informative about the accuracy of his history, they also respected the tradition and pageantry of St. Patrick. Overall, lovely experience.

A must see - The centre was very informative, and the staff were very pleasant. If you ever want to learn more about St. Patrick, the importance of Downpatrick and the surrounding area you should visit the Saint Patrick Centre.

An unforgettable experience ✨ - I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the St. Patrick Centre. I only knew a facts about St. Patrick and came away knowing his legendary story and the lasting legacy he has left not only on Ireland, but the world. Not to mention, the centre includes a tasty cafe and gift shop packed full of unique souvenirs! If you’re lucky you might get to chat with the knowledgeable Dr. Tim, who made our tour come alive with his enthusiasm for the subject. Make sure to visit Down Cathedral as well, a short walk from the centre, to visit St. Patrick’s grave site. Don’t miss out on the beautiful center and everything it has to offer!

Wonderful Experience! A testament to St. Patrick and the impact he had on history! - This was a fantastic experience that taught me a plethora of new facts about St. Patrick and his life as a slave, a saint, and as a scholar. The exhibit itself is an atmospheric experience that immerses you in the life of St. Patrick. There's almost a calming effect on you as you walk through the exhibit halls and focus on the stillness that permeates the walls, and as you walk through St. Patrick's life you realize the profound impact he had on Ireland and the whole of history for that matter. Not only did he bring Christianity to Ireland, but he also brought the written word to the pagans of the land, allowing the history of Ireland to become immoral. I must also recommend visiting St. Patrick's Cathedral just up the road to discover St. Patrick's grave and complete the saint's life in a sense. The St. Patrick Centre also provides a wonderful little cafe on the second floor where both the food and service is great! There, you will also find the Peace Garden where you can stroll around in a beautiful array of flowers and flora. The St. Patrick Center stands as a testament to St. Patrick, Downpatrick, County Down, and Northern Ireland by illuminating the life of Ireland's Apostle to all. I highly recommend you spend a day in Downpatrick and visit the St. Patrick Centre, St. Patrick Cathedral, and Saul Church to truly experience why Ireland is called the Land of Saints and Scholars!
