The muskoxen are unique, prehistoric animals, and you can only find them a few places in the world. One of those places is Dovrefjell, a beautiful National Park in Norway.
Together with our experienced guides, it is almost 100% certain that you will see this majestic animal during our safari. In addition, our guides will share their knowledge about other wildlife in the area, as well as the local history and culture.
Dovrefjell has a rich ecosystem, and there are good chances to spot other widlife such as eagles, ptarmigan or even wild reindeer.

Great experience🥰 - Great safari in a fantastic landscape! We didn't have to wait very long before we saw the first group of musk oxen. Our guide Kim was very friendly and competent. We were also lucky that our group was very small and we didn't really disturb the musk oxen. The distance to the herds was strictly maintained.

Great hike! - Lovely and memorable 6 hour hike in Dovrefjell with a very nice and knowledgeable guide. We got to see both a herd of cows and young animals as well as some lone males during the day.

Great musk ox experience - Great tour and we saw many musk ox! Our guide Rune was very experienced and knowledgable, explaining interesting backgrounds and history of Norway, the national park and the animals. There was also a possibility to be picked up for a fee which helped us a lot as we were staying in Dombås.

Great guides in Kim and Heidi - What an experience!
We got 2 very good guides on the trip, the group consisted of 17 expectant tourists.
Kim and Heidi turned a rainy day into a great day with their knowledge, humor and outstanding guiding and language skills!

Nice excursion! - Nice walk, friendly and knowledgeable guides and there is a very good chance of seeing a musk ox. It's great that they also bring a telescope, so you can see them from far away. Definitely do it if you want to see a musk ox!

found musk oxen - Very fun hike over the beautiful tundra. guide Johannes was outstanding with deep knowledge of the musk oxen and their habitat. Most importantly we found a small group of musk oxen to observe. Recommended!
