Memorable evening in San Sebastián - I went with my family, and we had a great experience. What made the experience the most memorable was the personality of the tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about the spot, clearly loved by the locals, and we enjoyed eating our way through the restaurants in the old town. Highly recommend!!😀

Unforgettable experience - If I had to sum up this tour with Eskerne in one word, it’d be; unforgettable. She has a special way of showing you San Sebastián that goes way beyond the norms. Her knowledge of the town, the people, and how everything works behind the scenes gives the whole experience a personal touch that’s really hard to find. You feel like you’re getting the inside story, not just ticking off tourist spots. I’d 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting San Sebastián.

Utterly delightful - This review is so embarrassingly long overdue, I’m so sorry it’s taken me so long. But hey that’s just the impression this tour leaves! I didn’t go in May 2024, I actually went in August 2018. I had only a day or 2 in San Sebastián and my friend’s dad said this tour with Eskerne was an absolute must. If I recall correctly, she actually wasn’t giving any tours that day but made an exception given I was only there for a day, so I ended up getting the most incredible one on one pintxos tour. I had slight apprehensions it would be awkward what with me being the only attendee, but those dissipated before we even left the hotel pick up point. Eskerne is magnetic and charming and I felt like I was just chatting with a friend all afternoon as she shared with me tidbits about the city, culture, food and drink. The tour itself was an utter delight and absolutely lives up to the hype. Eskerne customizes the tour to your preference so no two tours are the same. She has her ear to the ground of all the establishments, new and old, and following her around town was like following the de facto mayor—she knows all the proprietors and kept bumping into people she knew, which served to reinforce that I was getting a tour from someone truly engrained in the community who was taking me to see local gems and not tourist traps. The food and drink were to die for, no crumb of pintxos or drop of local cider was spared. Eskerne is hospitality epitomized and her tours are a must-do.

Amazing pinxtos! - Best tour, best part of our visit to San Sebastian. Eskerne was an amazing guide and really the best way to do pinxtos otherwise it can be intimidating. I wished i would have known about her sooner as we would have booked additional tours.

Must-Do Tour for Two - Eski was a perfect host and treated us like her best friends as we explored the pintxos in her home city. She got to know us and gave us choices at all 5 stops that matched what we liked. She also surprised us with some goodies and recommendations to go home with. Pintxos and Wine in San Sebastián! - Highly recommend the Discover San Sebastián tour with Eskerne! She shares her local knowledge of the history and traditions of San Sebastian. After learning some of the history, she takes you to some amazing local spots to enjoy incredible pintxos and wine. It was definitely the highlight of our trip. She truly is the best!

Great intro to the pin to scene in San Sebastian - We enjoyed a delicious tour with Esky. She was very personable and knowledgeable of both the food scene and the Basque region. We visited 5 pinxtos bars and were given options (and a drink) at each stop so we enjoyed a wide variety of flavors. Esky new everyone and we felt as thought we were in the company of a popular ‘mayor’. Highly recommended.

What every other of the 600 5 star reviewer's have said - Just awesome. We’ve done food tours in Dijon, Lyon, Paris, Bordeaux, Bologna, Reykjavik and more. None better than this. One example. We went to a place my friend and I had already visited. But she had the Pintxos freshly made and it was a different experience. If you are looking for a food tour and skip hers you are having a lesser experience. I would do again if I came back because she would curate a different tour.
