Additional Information

Embark on a walking tour across the historical region of San Sebastian and uncover its fascinating secrets with our local experts! Experience the city’s iconic beauty and learn about its structures and residents.

Beginning at the junction of the Old and New towns (where the city walls of the 19th century stood), we’ll guide you through the winding lanes of the Old Town, visiting its two chief churches and the famed pintxo streets. As we progress, we’ll explore the city’s growth in the early 1900s, heavily influenced by Spanish Queen Maria Cristina. She played a significant role in the creation of several distinctive San Sebastian buildings, including Hotel de Londres and Maria Cristina (named in her honor), the Cathedral of Buen Pastor (Good Shepherd), the Tabakalera museum, Victoria Eugenia auditorium, among others.

To top it all off, we’ve also included a round of pintxos at a traditional bar located in La Parte Vieja, the Old Town!

personalized pleasant trip - A dream come true. Our guide made us forget about the bad weather with her love and friendship. We didn't stop talking for the two hours of the tour, and with his experience he was able to personalize the trip greatly to the taste we had of history, science and culture. In short, we spent a pleasant morning, enjoying the company of the guide

Disappointing experience - Victor is a nice man but his tour was disappointing. The squally weather didn’t help. Very little information was given as he seemed keen to talk about concepts and repeated himself a lot. I’ve been on many great tours in several cities and this one was nowhere near.

Not worth it - The tour guide spoke softly and to no one in particular. There were no introductions at the beginning even though we were a very small group of 5-6 people. The history lessons went for way too long while everyone just stood in the middle of the street or it happened while walking, which meant only the 1-2 people walking right next to her could hear what she was saying. Despite Pintxos being in the title of this tour, there was no food or drink stop.
