Amazing Experience - Awesome experience but tired one! You start from the 07:00 and you go back at the hotel at 20:00 but it deserved its money. Samona beach is fantastic with clear water, the food is decent with great food and the waterfall is amazing. I suggest to have some extra money for tips for the people that are working hard to keep you safe and happy!

Amazing sightseeing and trip! - The horseback ride to the waterfall was such a unique experience and I got to understand the local culture from the horse guide provided. He was very caring and hospitable. The waterfalls were cool to explore, the transportation was smooth and full of energy guides. I loved seeing the remote island.

Amazing journey - Sandwich they served was inedible with a piece of cheese and ham. Dominican lunch was typical food flavored and good. Horseback riding was an experience on its own....horses have to walk over treacherous rocks and mud over huge logs while a lady walks beside you. I thought I was going to die 10 times. After you reach waterfall you have to walk down 200 steps...if you are not physically fit do not do this trip. Of course solicitors everywhere. Besides horseback riding this trip was amazing the journey to see the waterfall was amazing I would do it again and again even though the bad things I mentioned.

Amazing and various experiences in one trip - Overall we loved the trip!! Bacardi island is amazing, clean large beach, crystal clear water and good prices at the bar. We loved it waay more than saona as it is not overcrowded, cheaper and cleaner. After the beach we went by safari cars to samana. It.s a great opportunity to discover the dominican villages, their authentic settlements surrounded by luxurious forests. The horse trip was exciting too. Horses were tamed and gentle, always accompanied by a guide. We saw mango and pineapple trees, coffee, cocoa and bamboo in the forest on the way to the waterfall. The road was muddy and slippery climbing and going down. One needs to hold on tight to the horse. The waterfall is spectacular. When we got there it started raining but it was even better so - a unique experience to bathe in the waterfall during the rain. This trip is perfect for anyone wanting a little adventure and venturing out of their comfort zone (eating in local places, getting a little muddy etc.), but definitely not for anyone. It was a tiring day, but overall amazing.

Nice but not necessary 😞 - The tour in total was beautiful and the agents that accompanied us were professional and attentive, it rained in torrents on the passage from the bus to the boat, soon after in the open sea the sun returned. The island of Samaná is beautiful and Bacardi beach a real paradise. The experience with the horses is degrading because of the way the animals are treated and the conditions to which they are subjected, as well as the children who accompany the horses, it is heartbreaking. This whole journey is tiring and dangerous because the terrain is muddy and full of flints, any distraction and a tumble of the horse can be very serious and dangerous. The waterfall is nothing special, it doesn't do justice to the photos... very messy, muddy and nothing that we don't have much more beautiful in our country. Missed the visit to the farm to see the agricultural productions, cocoa, coffee etc. But good thing it was because after returning from the waterfall and doing the whole route again, we were exhausted. The day ended at 8:30pm at the hotel after 13h of in and out of buses and boats, exhausted, muddy and very dirty. I don't recommend it at all to people with health problems and out of question children. In summary it is an expensive tour, apparently, but involves a lot of logistics and in my humble opinion not worth it, to see Samaná and a beautiful beach the value is high, but I believe that necessary to pay all the agents and resources involved.

Save your money!! Let me... - Save your money!! Let me start off by saying that the scenery itself is absolutely beautiful and what they show in pictures! Now the experience itself, not so much. Not only do they advertise “small group” but also drinks and snacks. Which couldn’t be further from the truth. We went on a Thursday 10/5/23. So not during their busy season. On this specific day they over booked. Not only was it not a small group but there was 110 people! As you can imagine the boat was beyond full. On board they only provide you with off brand coke and sprite. No snacks. The rum they offer to mix with the sodas was not only sitting in the sun but it was half empty with no lid. The boat itself was not the best quality either. We spend a lot of time traveling to each location which wasn’t so much of an issue except the time spent in every stop did not reflect it. Once we got to our final destination, the “beautiful”waterfall it was even more chaos from there. Because they had overbooked there was not enough horses to take each one of us to the fall. Me and my husband with a group of maybe 10 other people had to stay behind to wait for horses to get back. Luis our “tour guide” left us without any direction did not even say a word to us. After waiting 20 minutes for a horse we were able to go but since a lot of people were already heading back we got to spend no more then 10 minutes at the fall. To top it off the people that guide the horses harass you into tipping them with the story that “they company doesn’t pay them.” Overall we wouldn’t go again. Not worth the amount of money we paid.

Animal abuse on Rancho Limon Adventura - Don’t book this trip! The horses are treaded very badly and are way to thin to carry a grown person! It is not worth the money and you feel bad for the horses. Don’t support animal abuse by booking this trip!
