Excellent excursion - Me and two children in their 20s are all foodies and would like to taste good food in Qatar without walking into any random restaurant! Nasir contacted me very quickly after I made the booking and given me lots of pointers before my travel, saved me lots of time doing research and his expert guide enabled us to enjoy our day such as the boat ride in the Pearl Island which was indeed the meeting point. We really enjoyed the boat ride and the island was so beautiful that we took many photos! Emad turned up early to accommodate us being there early and we were indeed very hungry too. The shawarma to start at Pearl Island was very tender and tasty. Emad took us to show us around the island with its history, he was very knowledgeable making us welcome and filled us with local information too. Then we had karat and chapati, the karat was very smooth and chapati was yummy. Then we were taken to try the Iranian kebab, the beef was very tender and it came with roasted pepper and tomato, onion, I ate it all even I wasn’t sure about lamb but this tour changed my mind about lamb, I would try again, no doubt! Then dessert time, very delicious! After dessert, we went for coffee with dates! Emad even offered to take us to Katara but we chose to go back to our hotel and he made sure we got into our taxi. We had a wonderful day, thank you both.

Book this pearl food tour with Nasir and Emad! - Go ahead and Book this pearl food tour with Nasir and Emad! We greatly recommend it! If you can do it privately, I would suggest the private route which includes pick up and drop off to your hotel/airport. The communication from Nasir was amazing from the beginning and we felt happy and comfortable. The airport pick up and tour with Emad was great and we enjoyed every moment. It was so much food we could even eat it all! They are flexible, kind, the food is amazing and the provide boat ride at the end is so romantic! Look no further definitely book with these guys! Thank you so making our night at the Pearl Qatar wonderful!!

THIS IS THE FOOD TOUR TO BOOK! - Please consider this food tour over any other! Emad showed my family a grand time around the Pearl. The food selections were excellent and flavorful! What I appreciated the most was that he was great and kind to my children. He held their hands as we walked around and made sure they were safe from traffic. They still ask about him to this day! That means a lot to me.
Again if you’re trying to compare food tours, look no further!

Best tour in Qatar - Emad was amazing. We were lucky enough to have a private tour and Emad gave us the royal treatment. He took us all over the Pearl. We not only had the most delicious food and drinks but we learned so much about Qatar and it's history and the story behind every food and drink. He was fun and talkative and so passionate about his country. I highly recommend this tour.

Pearl Qatar Island Food Tour - We had a great food tour with our guide, Bassel. The food at all our stops was really enjoyable, as was our coffee stop. Bassel is very personable and knowledgeable...which made our food tour that much more enjoyable, I definitely recommend this food tour!

First of all the cons:-... - First of all the cons:-
Ahmad came late leaving us flapping in the wind waiting aimlessly, we contacted the office after waiting for nearly 15 minutes but they could not get hold of the driver because he was asleep (he said thus has never happened to him b4) but that did not start our experience off well
Now the pros:-
Ahmad made up for his lack of punctuality - the tour he gave was excellent he made sure he covered all grounds of the historical way that Qatar got this beautiful country to the high standards it is today - the food part of the tour had us amazed with every bite and after the tour we were super full but satisfied.
I give the tour 9/10 but of course I would have scored 10/10 if only Ahmad had set his alarm ⏰️

Pearl food tour - Enjoyed walking around the Pearl, very pretty. Great to have local food on the go. Likely to go back at some point

Ok but expensive for what it was - Quite nice tour. Would have liked to hear more information re where we were and more about doha.
The food was good if not a vegetarian (I had let them know in advance). Awful if you are a vegetarian.
Small group and nice to chat to new people.
