In this tour, we will focus on visiting the local market in more detail and without rushing. You will see things you won’t find on regular city tours. Souq Waqif is one of Qatar’s most important tourist attractions due to its importance to citizens and residents alike. This market contains many goods such as fabric and jewelry stores, perfume and spice stores, pet stores, falcons, and Arabian horses. We will also take you on this tour to enjoy the delicious local food of Qatar.
- Dress code: cover your knees and shoulders, regardless of whether you are male or female/ Don’t wear anything see-through.
- Souq waqif local market: Most shops operate from 10:00 am. to noon. Re-open at 4 p.m. till 10 p.m. Fridays only afternoon.

Best tours in town - We had a wonderful time touring the Souq. Amir was a fantastic guide - affable, knowledgeable and tailored the tour to our preferences. Highly recommend Falcon Tours!

Time and money well spent - Great time passing activities a long layover. We did not have to deal with the Hassel of getting lost or getting to/from the airport. Money well spent.
Really enjoyed the tour Sadiq, our tour guide. Get to sample local food and tea in the tour as well.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

It's like stepping into a blend of old and new – from the buzzing Souq with its amazing Qatari dishes (seriously, those kebabs were next level!) to the cool vibes of Msheireb Heart's modern architecture. If you're into genuine experiences and want a taste of Doha's culture, this tour is a winner. It's a short but sweet journey that captures the heart of the city's food and vibe. Great tour service from Falcon - Booked Falcons Tour via Viator for the city tour on a long layover.
Very reliable service. Picked after immigration completed by Sadiq. Sadiq took us to some of the favors spots in Doha and patiently explained to us the history.
The guided tour cost for the trip is worth the hassle of getting lost around Doha for the first time.
Sadiq was very good. The food place where he took us to sample is a local place.
Overall, a satisfied experience and great time passing activity. Also a shout out to Sadiq.

Souq tour - I had a great time with Sajid, he took me to all of the scenic spots to take photos of the city, and walked me around the Souq, and was very patient with my million questions! The highlight was stopping by a spot in the market to learn Dama, a game sort of like checkers. I booked it assuming I'd be part of a group, but by chance it ended up being a private tour. I highly recommend it!

Great tour of Souq Waqif district of Doha - My wife and three friends just completed a Falcon tour in Doha of the Souq Waqif district and lunch at a great Arabic restaurant. Our guide, Sadiq, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of this important trading and tourist district and of Doha, Qatar, and the culture of the people who live here. We spent 5 very enjoyable and informative hours with Sadiq. His tour pace was adjusted to exactly the right pace for our group and we all had a great time. If you want to learn a lot about Doha and the Souq Waqif and enjoy some wonderful food, don’t miss this tour.

Amazing Doha Food And Souq Waqif Local Market, Msheireb Tour - Ali provided an excellent experience as my guide through Doha’s Souq Waqif Market and the Msheireb area. I was warmly welcomed by Ali from Falcon Tours who was very friendly and respectful.
The sights and smells of the market a must for anyone visiting Doha, they sell everything from spices to falcons!!
The guided was extremely good, and I enjoyed walking through the old and new areas of Doha. The scenery was eclectic and photogenic.
We were lucky enough to eat at a very popular local restaurant in the market and the kebabs were very tasty. The service was quick and the hummus a must try!!

Great tour of Souk Waqif with our guide Sajid! - My wife and I had a great time with our guide Sajid! He drove us to various sights where we got to take photos. Then we went to Souk Waqif where Sajid showed us the various parts of the market and we got to sample some local food and tea. We also saw the various animals like the camels, the Arabian horses and the falcons. Definitely recommend this tour!

Just average, too rushed. - The tour was just ok. It took a bit of prodding to get information from our tour guide. Honestly, we just felt a bit rushed. Our tour took us through the Souq, but many vendors were closed. It would have been nice to have this information. We would have likely selected another tour time. Additionally, our guide spent much of the time on his phone, which made us feel like we were interrupting him to get information and ask questions. We got no time to actually visit any of the vendors that were open in the Souq. It would have been nice to be given a 1/2 hour to walk on our own. We would not recommend this tour to others.
