Additional Information
Via Ferrata, The Děčín Shepherd’s Wall in Bohemian Switzerland is really for everyone. The beginner will acquire the basic skills of moving along a secured path in a very interesting environment. The Shepherd’s Wall offers a choice of 16 paths with lengths of 150 - 170 m on one rock and absolutely everyone will be amazed by the breathtaking views of the opposite castle and the deep Elbe canyon. You will be safely accompanied by our certified guide along the way up. At the same time, you only need about 2 hours for this experience.
The Via Ferrata ascent in Děčín is also suitable for children. According to our experience, we recommend a height of at least 130 cm / 4′ 3″. The weight limit is given by the technical parameters of the climbing sets, which determine the functionality from 40 to 120 kg. Adults and children lighter than 40 kg / 88 pounds need to be secured with a rope and our experienced guides will take care of that.

Climbing - Today, in addition to renting equipment, we arranged a lesson with a guide at the Active Point rental office. I have to say that was a great idea! The guide Honza was kind, he explained and showed us everything beautifully. It was really an experience and we recommend a lot!😍

Via ferrata climbing - It was my second time with a friend at via ferrata. I rented a climbing set and wanted to start with my friend. But it started to rain. Back in the shop the girls give me my hole money back, because I haven’t done anything. Later at the day the sun comes Out and the via ferrata was opened. So I came back and rented a climbing set again and could do some climbs. It was wonderful.

Amazing experience - It was our first experience with Via Ferrata and we were totally impressed. The guide we had was very good, he was kind and explained everything to us. What we really enjoyed was the view of the Shepherd wall, it was stunning.
We would really recommend it to everyone who likes sports and nature.

Don't miss to do that challange! - Great experience!!! I was a complete beginner, but guide Thomas explained everything very well to me and took the most challangeing route for best experience. Not too much and not too little.

Hanging by a Thread and Loving It! - Wow, what an epic adventure! As someone with a fear of heights, I decided to take on the ultimate challenge: via ferrata. Accompanied by my partner, we embarked on this journey and boy, did we love it! Huge shoutout to our amazing guide who helped me conquer my fear. The payoff? A jaw-dropping view of Děčín and a heart-pounding ascent that left us exhilarated. A heartfelt thank you – this was a 5 out of 5 adventure!

Nice climbing Via Ferrara - The time was two ours delayed because of the rain the day before. We heard it in the car twenty minutes before arrival.
Climbing the Via Ferrara was very nice! First we get instructions and after that, we did a tour that matches perfectly to our group. Our guide Vojta was very friendly, helpful and funny. Thanks Active Point!

Climb with son - Jako nováčci jsme si objednali lezení s průvodcem. Vše snadno a rychle bylo vyřízeno. Byl s námi i syn (9). Samotná instruktáž bylo ok. Následné lezení a spolupráce byla super. Průvodce profík a skvěle dopomáhal synovi (když byla potřeba). Vylezli jsme skvělou stěnu a pak jsem šli ještě na druhou :). Byl to skvělý zážitek a určitě se vrátíme is dcerou (11).
We were beginners. We ordered climb with guid. Everything went great and quick. Everything was explained well. Climbing went excellent a safe. The guid was professional. We took two roads to archive the top. It was great experience and fun for all of us. Especially for our son (9). We definitely return again with daughter.
