Rent a single sea kayak for 1, 2, or 3 hours and explore the Laguna at Amager Beach.

No certification or prior experience is necessary to rent a kayak. However, it is important to be comfortable in the water, as there is always a possibility of falling in while kayaking.

During the winter months, rentals are subject to wind and weather conditions, as well as your kayaking experience. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the store.

The ideal way to experience the stunning nature at Amager Beach is by renting a kayak. Amager Beach is a man-made sandy island stretching over 4 km, featuring a lagoon nestled between the mainland and the island. On the opposite side of the island lies the “Øresund” ocean. This area is rich in birdlife and offers various watersports, including kayaking, stand-up paddling, kite surfing, and windsurfing.

Amager Beach and Kajakhotellet are located approximately 8 km from Copenhagen Central Station. It is easily accessible by taking the metro to “Femøren” Station, followed by a short 10-minute walk.

• Children between the ages of 12-15 must be accompanied by an adult. They are not allowed on the water by themselves
• Anyone under the age of 18 must bring a written permission from a parent/guardian unless they participate themselves.
