Great experience - It was very good to come to Vietnam with my Father to get an understanding of were he was based at Nui Dat, 68-69. Also to see the Long Tan memorial site. The day trip was excellent and our tour guide Ken was informative and very helpful .

A visit to the Dat - Our trip to what little remains of the Aussie presence at Nui Dat was made special by our guide Ken who shared his knowledge along the way. He had done his research and had a series of A4 photo copies of images of how things were. Standing at key places like Luscomb Field, below SAS Hill, 6 RAR lines and particularly at the Long Tan Cross site was special. Although a long day in the van, Ken kept us engaged with lots of stories along the way. Driver Tom also delivered us safely home through the chaos of HCM City traffic after a delightful lunch in a local Cafe. The visit to the Military Weapons collection at Vung Tau / Baria and the tunnels was a very welcome surprise and well worth the time. Thanks Ken, love you!

Australian Base and lon Tan tour - The tour was very informative and our tour giude Ken was great Though there are very little remaining things that show the Australian Base the fact you are there walking on the same ground as our boys did in the war is humbling What moved me the most was visiting the battle of Lon Tan site and paying our respects We then went to a private weapon's museum and that was outstanding the collection is quite extensive We then had a bit of lunch and got dropped off back at our hotel All up a very good day Big shout out Ken our guide and our driver Top darts boys

10/10 great tour - Getting to see the history of armour and weapons from all over the world was incredibly interesting and being able to visit the sites where the Australian troops were based was incredible. Our tour guide Ken was so knowledgeable about the significance and history behind each historical site we visited. He showed us pictures of what these places looked like during the war and he even took us into the tunnels. Ken was easy to understand and looked after us very well. Overall, I recommend doing this tour, you won’t be disappointed!
