Mekong 1 day tour - We did the 1 day Mekong Delta tour with Joy Journeys and Ken was our guide. He did great with keeping us on time and giving us interesting facts along the way. We were able to taste some local chocolate, coconut candies and interesting drinks ! The set lunch at a local family was awesome. The row boat ride along the coconut canals was peaceful. Thanks for a great tour !

Amazing - Loved this Ben Tre trip! Not crowded, very authentic, with stops at a brick kiln, chocolate, coconut workshops, making mat. The family-style lunch were highlights, and the rowing boat in a small cannal was so relaxing.

Highly recommende - The first stop at the brick kiln was fascinating. Our guide told us we were lucky to actually step inside, since most days it’s full of bricks. And we had our own private boat on the canal, which felt so peaceful and authentic compared to crowded tourist spots. Lunch at a local home was the highlight for me, delicious food and very a welcoming atmosphere. Everything was well organized, highly recommend this tour.

Highly recommend - I loved how personal this tour felt. With only a small group, we had the chance to ask questions and really connect with the guide. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and engaged. Everything was very well planned, and I never felt pressured to buy anything.

Such a wonderful day! - The small group made everything feel personal and not rushed. Everything was smooth and well-organized from start to finish. The guide was so knowledgeable and shared many stories about local life and traditions. I especially appreciated that the tour focused on culture rather than shopping stops.

Recomendable! - Pickup is punctual and transfer is very comfortable. You go to a part of the mekong where there is not much tourism and you can see a little the essence of the people of the place. The boat ride is very nice. Then they show you a brick factory typical of the place, also how they make chocolate and coconut edibles and before eating you take a pleasant bike ride through the village. The food is a family home and is very good. After lunch you are taken in the typical canoe along the river and it is photo walk. And then back on the boat to the return transport. The truth is that it is very worth eating excursion and certainly hire it with this operator (Joyjouerneys) because they look very much for the client. And the gui Ken very nice and friendly. Besides, he is not in a hurry, he takes a lot of pictures and explains many interesting things.

A fun filled day! - We’ve got Ken as our guide for the day who is very knowledgeable and passionate about sharing his stories and showcasing the best of Vietnam. We’ve learnt the trades of the local people and we’ve been taken to homes of locals’ for a delicious lunch. It’s a day with fun filled activities both on the water and road. The only tip I’d recommend is to bring sunscreen and a hat!
