Excellent tour and driver - Excellent tour! Our guide was wonderful. Thoughtful, professional and highly knowledgeable about Sonargaon and Bangladesh culture and history in general. Panam is an evocative place, would have been a sight to behold in its glory days. Packed a lot of sites into the tour, but all was well planned and delivered. Was nice to get out of Dhaka for a slower pace and to appreciate Bangladesh’s countryside. Our tour driver was patient, friendly and an expert navigator of very busy traffic.

Great guide and cool experience - Rabbi was great! Not only was he knowledgeable, but he was also very kind and hospitable. Cool tour to see the outskirts of Dhaka. I had a great time!

Fun and Unique Bangladesh Tour - Wonderful tour and delightful day with a great guide, Shahoriar Rabibi. He was not only super friendly, knowledgable, but he and our driver ended up chatting and have a nice day and lunch. The Sonargaon and Island Trip is quite beautiful and the old Capital and the history behind it is excellent. While I booked this tour through Viator, it was provided by Taabu Tours of Bangladesh and as I enjoyed it so much I booked a second, different day trip through them on a different topic. This tour and their company are well worth exploring! I enjoyed it a lot and learned a great deal.

Remarkable insights into Dhaka and Bangladesh - Jafar is an amazing guide. We saw all the sights you would expect and many more unusual ones. The brick factory, the ship yard, fruit market, museums, artists and textile shops. And of course ancient mosques and palaces. I was collected from the hotel and safely driven all day from destination to destination. The tour is handled very sensitively with a great deal of respect for the people and places we were passing. Jafar is also very good at bringing out the points of interest specific to you. I feel I could have spent many days more walking, going on boats, travelling in rickshaws to more and more interesting places. As a female travelling solo I felt completely secure all of the time that we were out and about. I cannot recommend Taabu Tours and Jafar and his team highly enough. I can’t wait to come back and see and do more.

Amazing day tour of Dhaka and Sonargaon areas - I had an amazing day tour of Dhaka city, Sonargaon areas including a boat trip to the Naul Chor island on the Meghna river. My guide, Jafar was professional, extremely knowledgeable and willing to customize the tour based on my preference for market visits, boat rides, mosques and a local village experience. Due to Jafar’s flexibility and local knowledge we were able to cover a lot of ground in one day while not feeling rushed. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Dhaka!

A great tour with a great tour guide with lots of history. - This tour was very nice with lots of interesting sites. The Village Island visit was very enlightening. Sonargaon and the old Capital were particularly interest to me as a retired history teacher. My tour guide was fantastic with lots of information to share about all of the sites we visited. Add in her wonderful personality and it was a great day with an authentic meal to top it all off.

Great sightseeing, exploring and food! - We enjoyed walking through Panam city and especially loved how our guide made sure we were able to try many different foods and fruits. We learned a lot about the culture of Bangladesh and its history.

Excellent tour - We had Shahoria on this tour, really loved seeing Sonaragaon- a must - and an enjoyable boat ride.
