Spooktacular tour of the darker side of Ilfracombe. - Our guide Mark, met us on time and started the tour almost immediately. Which was great no hanging around waiting. His knowledge of the subject was second to none, backed up with visual references that took you back in time. He was very friendly, approachable and open for questions at any time. The tour was thorough with enough time at each location to soak up the atmosphere and get you into the 'spirit' of things😉. One I would highly recommend. We will be booking another tour with this provider in the very near future. Excellent knowledge and excellent value.

Excellent little tour! - Such a lovely break from my business course this week, a great tour, thank you. The guide was friendly, informative and made it all worth while braving the fog on the way to our meeting point.

Informative tour with a great narrative that’s easily understood for all ages - Hearing about the fire above the bar in the first pub. Literally 10 minutes after my wife and 2 grandchildren had enjoyed a pre tour drink and my granddaughter asking us as we were in there if people died in a fire she’s almost 7 .

Great ghost tour - Mark was an enthusiastic and engaging host, for our 90 minute ghost walk around Ilfracombe. The tour started at the George and Dragon Pub, where the stories were brought to life at the oldest pub in Ilfracombe. Other stops on the tour included the Britannia Hotel and harbour area. Very knowledgeable and plenty of stories to tell!

A novel way to learn about ilfracombe - An interesting insight into the life and times of ilfracombe interspersed with great stories of ghosts, poltergeists, strange sensory experiences and happenings linked to researched historical events. Mark was very knowledgable and his iPad photographs helped to bring stories from the past to life.

Tired village shops - It was a nice place to visit but unfortunately like a lot of villages and harbours due to struggling times empty shops or charity shops but still worth a visit
