- Heron Harbor - On your private charter, we’ll venture out to the Deep Sea Nearshore waters on the Gulf of Mexico for a 4, 5 or 6 hour trip to target a wide range of species to include Snapper, Grouper, Mahi, Mackerel, Tuna, Cobia and Sharks. We’re typically fishing well within sight of land anywhere between 2 - 9 miles offshore, but don’t think for a moment this has an impact on the quality or the quantity of the fish you’ll catch! The coastal waters off of Destin quickly reach depths in excess of 100 feet within the first few miles. Due to this unique coastal reef geography, fish of all shapes and sizes call these waters home. This allows minimal travel times to your fishing spots thus increasing your actual time fishing. While out on the boat you’ll often see dolphins, sea turtles and other marine life. Our family-friendly guides will coach you to success on catching the fish of your dreams and make sure everyone has a fun time fishing. Once your trip is over we will clean, filet, bag and ice your catch. You then can take your filets home with you or to one of the highly recommended restaurants by our marina who will prepare your catch any way you’d like it along with all the tasty sides.

Great fishing experience - Captain Brett was super nice & friendly. Caught lots of fish! Also enjoyed seeing a dolphin up close who seemed to be fishing & enjoying the beautiful day with us. Captain Brett also had lots of good local recommendations including an excellent restaurant that cooked some of the fish we caught for us. Great communication. Easy parking. Easy to find the boat. It was a beautiful day!

Best Fishing Charter! - Had an absolute blast with Captain Chuck! Him and his deckhand Jacob were very helpful and knowledgeable. Fun to be around! It was an experience we won’t forget! Will be booking again for sure when we visit next! 10/10 would recommend.

Best fishing I have ever done - Booking the charter was very easy to do. We booked a 4hr. Deep Sea-Nearshore Gulf trip. We started our trip catching bait, then did some trolling. After that we did some drop fishing. Then finished our trip with more trolling. Captain Chuck was able to get us on some Vermilion Snapper, Trigger fish, Red Snapper and I even battled with two Sharks. While trolling we hooked a King fish and a Mahi Mahi, but the Mahi Mahi got away. Captain Chuck was friendly and polite with us rookies. He did all the work, from baiting our lines to cleaning our fish. If I go fishing in Destin again, I will book with Intercostal Experience Charter and ask for Captain Chuck.

Captain Brett - Trip was nice. Captain Brett was kind and did what we asked. Tried to help us catch what we were looking for. Got really hot on the boat so next time I’ll do a morning trip. Overall thou we all loved it!!

Great time! - Captain Brett gave us the full experience! Very laid back and a lot of fun. We caught tons of fish! One of my son’s (9) favorite part was feeding the pelicans the fish carcasses at the end of our trip. I definitely recommend 👍🏻

Amazing fishing experience! - My husband and I went out with Captain Chuck and his deckhand. We had an amazing time. We caught Spanish mackerel, vermillion and hit a crazy pompano bite. Captain Chuck knows all the hot spots. Loved the whole experience. We plan to return next year and will go out with Captain Chuck again.

Awesome experience - This was a wonderful experience. We caught a variety of fish and then was advised to bring it to The Edge and have them cook our fresh catches. Would give 10/10!

Highly Recommend- a great fishing experience for everyone! - We fished during spring break and had a great time. There was a lot of action and the captain was really great with my kids, who are inexperienced with fishing. When you’re with kids, a lot of action is ideal and our trip delivered. It was pretty rough (3’ seas) and we had a backup plan in case anyone started feeling sick. That didn’t happen though thanks to Dramamine and we had a trip and caught a ton of fish.
