- Heron Harbor - On your private charter, we’ll venture out to the Deep Sea Nearshore waters on the Gulf of Mexico for a 4, 5 or 6 hour trip to target a wide range of species to include Snapper, Grouper, Mahi, Mackerel, Tuna, Cobia and Sharks. We’re typically fishing well within sight of land anywhere between 2 - 9 miles offshore, but don’t think for a moment this has an impact on the quality or the quantity of the fish you’ll catch! The coastal waters off of Destin quickly reach depths in excess of 100 feet within the first few miles. Due to this unique coastal reef geography, fish of all shapes and sizes call these waters home. This allows minimal travel times to your fishing spots thus increasing your actual time fishing. While out on the boat you’ll often see dolphins, sea turtles and other marine life. Our family-friendly guides will coach you to success on catching the fish of your dreams and make sure everyone has a fun time fishing. Once your trip is over we will clean, filet, bag and ice your catch. You then can take your filets home with you or to one of the highly recommended restaurants by our marina who will prepare your catch any way you’d like it along with all the tasty sides.

Awesome family time! - Everything about our experience was top notch! Communication was great, fishing was awesome, Cpt Brett was great with the whole family!! Trying to get on the schedule now for this summer, and winter! Best part of our vacation!

Great guide and equipment. Fish, dolphins, and turtle. - Very knowledgeable guide, and even though in-season was limited to vermillion snapper while we were there it was still a wonderful experience. We saw dolphins and a sea turtle, so beyond fishing it was a great trip. Our guide was always baiting lines for us and helping the kids catch fish. Them filleting the catches at the end was a nice bonus.

Non stop action - We have a great time. Capt Chuck put on the fish immediately. Top notch service all the way around. If you are looking for a good time and want to catch fish, then Capt Chuck is your guy.

From Sea to Table - Captain Chuck was outstanding. Best guided trip we've ever had. Great experience for two kids and three adults. We put 12 fish in the box. Capt Chuck suggested we take the fillets next door to the Harbor Tavern Grill. 20 minutes later we were enjoying the catch.

Family Fun in the Gulf - Best fishing charter in Destin, Florida!! Took my whole family. Everyone caught fish but my wife, she didn’t fish just went along for the ride! Captain Chuck was awesome. Saw lots of dolphins, comfortable boat, good fishing gear. If you’re looking for a fishing trip I highly recommend these guys. Bill DuBose

December fishing in December - Captain Chuck did not disappoint! We had the best time as a family fishing. So much so that my husband and son went out the next day with Chuck for more fishing! Intracoastal is the best fishing Charter in Destin!

Christmas Doormats! - First off, I asked Capt. Brett if he knew where the flounder were, he smiled an replied that he might have some spots for me.
After a short boat ride we arrived at our first fishing location and put some baits in the water. First drop, the rods began to bow and a few of our baits turned into cooler sized flounder, Capt Brett put me right on them, That Was Amazing!
When the bite slowed we moved to another one of his private fishing spots and we pulled up some nice Mingo snapper then the flounder bite was back on.
By the end of the trip we kept our 4 person limit of 20 flounder and 14 Mingo snapper.
I would definitely recommend Intracoastal Experience if you’re looking for a top quality fishing charter.
