Highlights
- Our journey begins with a visit to the village of Derynia and the Famagusta Viewpoint. You’ll get an insight into the pre-1974 life in Famagusta, including its famed tourist area, Varosha, before the Turkish invasion. Please be aware that a comprehensive guided tour will only be conducted at the Famagusta Viewpoint before moving northward.
- We’ll proceed towards the checkpoint and cross over to the Turkish army-occupied northern part of the island, passing the ‘ghost city’ where entry is strictly prohibited. We’ll also uncover the remnants of the old city with its remarkable Venetian walls, where you can photograph, shop, or simply unwind with a cup of coffee. A visit to the Othello Tower is a must for capturing breathtaking photographs.

Next, we head east towards the stunning beaches where we’ll hop onto our cruise boat. Get ready to sail along the shoreline, taking in views of scattered coves and sea caves. Our boat will dock at the crystalline Blue Lagoon—an unforgettable highlight of this excursion. Perfect your swimming or snorkelling skills in the transparent waters or simply sit back and relax. Snorkelling gear will be provided for free on board. Our sailing experience will be spiced up with a bonus swim-stop and a complimentary local drink, served alongside a scrumptious lunch prepared by our chef on board.
Please bear in mind, onboard guiding will not be administered during the cruise. Rare instances of unfavorable weather conditions or other uncontrollable factors could result in the cancellation of the boat trip and lunch. In such cases, guests will be reimbursed with €28.00 per adult and €15.00 per child.

- A current valid passport is required on the day of travel or valid ID card for European citizens
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately, vehicles are without A/C
- Please bring sun protection, hat, sun glasses, swimwear and towel
- Adverse weather conditions and/or other factors beyond our control may cause the cancellation of the second part of the excursion which includes the boat trip and lunch. In this rare instance, guests will be partially compensated.
- Full and only guiding will take place at the Famagusta Viewpoint prior to entering the north. No guiding will take place on board the boat during the cruise.
- For the minors travelling with only one parent or in the care of friends or relatives a consent letter should be used for a cross-border travel.

Must have tour with George Michael - a living legend - This was one of the most memorable tour experiences I ever had - our driver & guide George Michael (indeed that's his name!) made it personal, informative and fun at the same time.
It includes a jeep ride into the occupied part of Cyprus as well as cruising on a ship & stopping by to swim in an amazing environment.
You may find the tour a bit on the expensive side (so did we as well), but it includes a lunch as well and is a fantastic experience and as such it's well worth it.

Awesome guide, nice trip! - The driver (George Michael) was amazing! 10/10. The famagusta ghost Town and history bit was super. The boat trip was too long (total duration of tour is said to be 7 hours, took 9,5...), in addition the party music on the boat was in my eyes not compstible with a history trip, both was good, but not as a combo.
Therefore 4/5 stars, but all in all very satisfied!

A very good one day trip activities. - People who is able to find happiness from everything then this is the perfect trip for you.
We may feel uncomfortable but we managed to laugh at everything.
The Jeep owner Mr. George Michael is really a good hilarious person.
The cruise named Lady Popi 1 is a nice boat and the food was super.
Lot of time to swim in the Blue and Green colour water.

Comprehensive and fun - Great tour, good info and history shared. Very good boat trip with good food… the only bad thing is the cars used, not comfortable and no AC was turned on! We came back very happy yet very tired from the ride

Pickup no show - Despite two email confirmations (after I contacted them), the office apparently didn’t book me on the tour, so the driver never showed up. I rang the office 8 minutes after the pickup time and they assured me the driver would arrive in 5-10 minutes, then 10 minutes later they rang to say the driver has left without me so bad luck, I don’t get to do the tour. Very poor service.
