Colorado Sightseer - Your tour begins at historic Union Station in beautiful Downtown Denver. Your Driver/Guide for the day will pick you up in a clean comfortable 12 or 15 passenger Transit Touring Van. You will head South past the Palmer Divide to beautiful Colorado Springs and Explore the many wonders of the Pikes Peak Region. Begin by travel up the exciting

Pikes Peak Highway (admission included) to the 14,110 foot (4,304m) summit of Americas best known mountain while enjoying spectacular mountain scenery and looking for wildlife along the way. Witness the same views that inspired Katherine Lee Bates to write America the Beautiful in 1893. Next travel back down to the Historic town of

Manitou Springs. In town you will enjoy lunch and shopping on your own in this quaint Victorian mountain hamlet.

You can

Sample 1000-year-old soda water mineral springs while in town from one of the many fountains or

play vintage games at the penny arcade. Then tour through majestic

Garden of the Gods park while surrounded by towering ancient rock formations and grand views of Pikes Peak. Enjoy a

walk down one of the trails through the park and get up close with the beautiful

nature and

geology. Stop at the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center and tour the museum exhibits. On your way back to Denver enjoy more scenic views of the mountains and foothills before arriving back at Union Station where it all began.
Please note reaching the summit of Pikes Peak is dependent on road conditions and weather.

Embark on a thrilling journey up Pikes Peak Highway (entrance fee included) to the summits of Pikes Peak, standing at a lofty 14,115 feet. Marvel at the breathtaking mountainous vistas along the route- the same scenery that moved Katherine Lee Bates to pen America the Beautiful in 1893. Pay a visit to the Historic Manitou Springs. Here, you can either relish the taste of natural mineral springs over a millennium old or indulge in some old-school fun at the penny arcade. Take some time out for a self-guided lunch and shopping expedition too. Next, explore the awe-inspiring Garden of the Gods park, encircled by towering ancient rock structures and spectacular views of Pikes Peak. Delight in a leisurely trek along one of the park’s trails, immersing yourself in the exquisite natural beauty and geology. Wrap up your sojourn with a visit to the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center, touring the fascinating museum exhibits before returning to Denver.

We meet guests at the flagpole in front of Union Station and the Crawford Hotel at 1701 Wynkoop Street where 17th and Wynkoop Streets come together. Meeting time: 8:15 am. Our touring vans have our round Colorado Sightseer logo on the rear side panels.

A Wonderful Day! - Colorado Sightseer is a well-run, totally professional and fun touring company! We learned a great deal not only about Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs and Garden of the Gods, but also of the various Colorado ecosystems, wildlife and state history. Christin was delightful - she customized the tour to meet the needs of all 9 guests, remembering everyone’s name and circumstances. You could tell this is her passion! There were plenty of opportunities for photos, bathroom breaks, big horn sheep viewing, snacking and rest when desired. I was concerned about altitude sickness at the summit of Pikes Peak. She had her facts, personal experience and such a caring attitude that I knew I was in good hands if I were to experience any symptoms. Luckily just a bit of light headedness that didn’t get in the way of enjoying the beautiful scenery and newly renovated visitor’s center. A day well spent in the natural beauty of Colorado!

Good times in Colorado - Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods were the highlights of our Colorado vacation. We would have preferred to spend a little more time at Garden of the Gods instead of Manitou Springs. The tour guide showed us a good time but also didn't overload us with too much information.

MUST DO!! - We are visiting for a friend's birthday celebration. This was the 9ne thing she wanted to do and IT WAS WELL WORTH IT! Our tour guide, Alex, was amazing. Informational and witty! He's something like a mountain goat...😉 Mask up and book with Colorado Sightseers!

Small, attentive company. Good guides. - Many tours to choose from, and we did 3, Rocky Mountain National Park, Pikes Peak, and the Breckenridge/Red Rocks tour. All great, informative. The tours do take time, so you have to plan on spending the day, but it is worth it. We had a great time on all the tours. Saw wild life, Elk, Mountain Sheep, and the weather was very cooperative. Good company, small and locally owned by family, and they tend to you on a personal level. not like dealing with a large tour company. Have a great tour !

Pikes Peak Wonders - What a great day! Magnificent scenery, well organised and 10/10 for our guide, Will. He was so interesting, informative, helpful, courteous and funny telling his little stories about the animals in the region. I learnt a lot and saw a lot. A wonderful tour.
