Highlights
  • Denver - Starting from our location on 16th and Market Streets, we begin by heading toward Denver’s historic Lower Downtown or LoDo, as referred by the locals. The sights and smells from our breweries and restaurants are sure to tantalize as we snake past the ballpark and on to Cherry Creek Trail. Exhilaration and peacefulness combine as we zip along the babbling brooks of Cherry Creek. Next we’ll find Confluence Park, where the Platte River and Cherry Creek meet, this is also a perfect place to stop and take it all in. Get the cameras out because the wacky Denver Art Museum and the beautiful gold crowned State Capitol are along the way as we roll back toward the business district. You’ll be the envy of everyone as we glide through town, ending the tour (sadly, we know.) right back we started!

Segway to fun - We love going on Segway to see great places to eat or another activity in a new city we are visiting. This ride did not disappoint. Good times!

Downtown Denver experience - Great way to see the city. Josh did a fabulous job of teaching us and sharing facts about Denver. We had a fun time!!

A great time ! - I enjoyed the whole tour , learned a thing or two about something’s I didn’t know, and seen some areas of downtown Denver that I have never see before and truthfully I think the tour could’ve been a little longer it was a great time to spend with my family

Segway tour in Denver. - Fun experience. Got to see a few things around Denver including Coors Field, who are you (from the outside). Lots of areas under construction, which made it less pleasant. Difficult to park.

Segway Fun - This was a fun experience that I would definitely do again. It was my first Segway tour. There was about a five minute learning curve. Once I got the hang of it, it was super easy. The tour was good. However, I think what would make this tour better is if we had seen more street art along the way.

Disappointing for various reasons - Our guide let us know he was going to be late. By the time we collected the segways and he could see we were experienced riders, which took two minutes, it was 2.30. Denver is not a city that has much to offer the tourist, especially as the only interesting area Rino, we didn’t get to see. We stopped about 7/8 times and Josh was fairly knowledgeable about what we saw, it’s not his fault that there’s not much to see. But I think the whole tour needs a rethink as we were back by 3.40, a total of about 75 minutes.

Fun to be on a Segway but not a great tour. - I’ve done a couple of other Segway tours that were much better. 1. The training was 1 by 1 and was in the basement. Other tours I’ve been on we all trained together so instead of an hour spent training it was 20 minutes. 2. The other tours have focused on the history and interesting building etc.

Interesting Way to Start Our Vacation - Our guide met us right on time. The meeting spot was a little difficult to find because we weren't familiar with the area and there was construction going on, but we managed. It was interesting to hear the history of some of the places we stopped to look at. There was a Rockies game so hundreds of people were walking to the stadium which made navigating the Segway a little challenging and nerve wracking. Since we were the only two on the tour, our guide took us on a little different route so we could catch a glimpse of the Broncos stadium. At this point, hubby and I stopped to take some pics. Our guide took pics for us, but then took off. We weren't ready to leave that spot and continued taking pictures. When we looked up, he was gone! LOL! Not a huge deal as there was only one way he could've gone, but we thought it was funny. In all, the trip is good for the price. I recommend wearing comfy shoes. If you have balance issues, I don't think this is the tour for you. I ran over a big hole in the sidewalk which threw me forward and off of my Segway. My body didn't hit the ground, but I was hopping around while straddling the thing trying to regain control. Our guide just watched and shouted suggestions for how to right the thing. I ended up having to go against a wall to regain control before I could hop back on. (side note: leaning them against the wall is how you kind of "put them in neutral" so to speak) Also, watch your wheels because my wheel hit a landscaping boulder in another section which tripped me up again and I came off the machine. Not terribly though as I was able to hop back on pretty quick and continue, but our guide never knew because he was so far ahead of us again and already around the corner. And, just for some context to this whole story, we are mid 50's and fairly fit.

Scary, poorly planned instructional session - We were taken to a small filthy closet down in a parking garage to pick up equipment. The expectation was that of everyone already being competent to ride. Brief training on an exterior vehicle done in a small dirty room and up-and-down the fairly steep ramp of an underground garage. My spouse became increasingly frustrated and angry. We walked out rather than continuing something so poorly set up.
