Great way to explore St.Lucia - We had a very nice time riding the horses. Our guide was showing us different plants and fruit trees during the tour. We saw ruins of sugar plantation and spent some time at the beach. We had nice conversations and he was eager to answer our questions. We even had a great treat- he chopped coconuts for us, so we had coconut water. Horses look healthy and well taken care of. The tour was supposed to last 2 hrs, but it went waaay beyond that. We appreciate that there was no rush and the guide spent more time with us. We spent 2 weeks on the island snorkeling almost every day, so horseback riding tour was a good change and a very fun way to spend half of the day. Thank you for giving us good impressions and memories!

Great people, beautiful horses, amazing views! - I was so scared at first, but the East Coast Stables team did everything to reassure and calm me! They were patient and very understanding! The experience itself was exciting. Learning a little about the island's history and having your senses awakened by the past was euphoric! Very impressed!

Great horseback riding experience! - I used the live chat to help me book and it was seamless. The chat agent was very helpful. Our driver was right on time to pick us up and was super friendly. Our guides for the horse ride were actually children but they were awesome! Very helpful and knowledgeable about the areas we rode through and great with the horses. They made sure we had an enjoyable experience. They had cold drinks of our choice ready for us when we returned and fresh bananas (we were in banana tree area). Would definitely do it again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great horseback riding experience.

Wonderful experience - We loved our tour guides, two very knowledgeable gentleman, one 16 and one 15, showing us the foliage and land of St. Lucia. The guides knew these horses and their personalities very well and you could tell there was a deep sense of trust between the animals and their guides. My wife and I loved our experience and would 10/10 recommend!

Great excursion with amazing views! - Fantastic horseback riding tour! Enjoyed every minute! My husband and I cruise yearly and always try to take a horseback riding on the beach excursion. Sometimes, the cruise line does not offer such excursions, or we find a better offer through Viator which we have used on several occasions and has never proven to be a disappointment. This tour, was amazing. We were picked up at the cruise port, our driver was prompt and courteous. He provided history of the island, pointed out important things and views and stopped for us to get pictures a few times. Once at the stable, we were greeted warmly by the staff. Most were young boys who guided each horse on our journey. This was the first time of many horseback riding excursions, that each horse actually had their own guide. Both my husband's and my guides were wonderful. They were social, humorous and knowledgeable about the area giving us information about the spices, bananas and views we saw throughout our ride. Once we reached a certain area, there was a guide who provide other information but then left our own guide to finish the tour. We were guided to the beach wher we were able to get off our horses and relax (swim if you wished to do so) then got back on our horses and were guided along the beach allowing the horses to walk along the water getting their feet wet although we did not actually go into the water with our horses. Upon our return to the stable we were assisted off our horses and given a relaxing and refreshing drink of our choice. We returned to our ship with the same driver and enjoyed every minute of this adventure. Highly recommend.

This is the ride to go on - Even though only two of us were signed up for that day, it was not cancelled. We were met at the pier by our ship and then driven to the east side of the island where the stable is located. Our ride took us through a banana and plantain plantation and our guides gave us thyme, bay and cinammon leaves to crush and smell. They also gave us love apples and cacao seeds to eat and suck on! Delicious! We also rode through an outdoor amphitheater that had an old sugar cane factory from the 1870s where a guide told us all about the factory and its mechanization. We ended up on a deserted beach where we were the only ones present and our guide sliced open a coconut for us to drink it’s milk. Then there was opportunity for a little run on the beach with the horses. Back up the rocky path to the stable where we were given local bananas and soft drinks.

Awesome experience! - The whole experience was awesome! Horses were well trained and easy riding. So much history around the plantation. Andre, our taxi, was incredibly knowledgeable and very kind and even went the extra mile for us and stopped by a grocery for us on the way back to our hotel. 10 out of 10 would recommend

Worth it! - Great trip. Loved every minute of it. Steep terrain in spots but I said a prayer and went with the flow. The horses were lovely. Scenery was spectacular. I’ve read the other reviews. How people didn’t read the description of this excursion and not wear insect repellent and sunscreen is beyond me. You will have a wonderful time. No stress. No problem. Thank you to everyone for making the entire time fun.

The best excursion in St. Lucia - We didn’t know what to expect for this excursion and nearly didn’t as we have 3 young children and didn’t want any hassle. We’re so glad we went and had the best time. Keith and 2 of his helpers expertly guided us along the way and gave us a informative historical tour and the best trip we’ve had over a 17 day period in St. Lucia. Keith rode with our 4 year old and safety looked after him the whole trip! Lots of laughter and fun. If you are looking for something original and to create memories then this is for you. Thank you Keith and team.
