Excellent value, really... - Excellent value, really organised, all inclusive, good facilities, a snorkel on the outer reef is a must by boat as part of the organised activities

Must do experience - Fantastic experience, my second time to Southsea Island and it did not disappoint.
We chose the combo trip so saw many other islands and resorts from the boat.

Unforgettable experience - We really enjoyed our half day trip with South sea cruises. An unforgettable experience all round.

Half day was the right call with 2 young kids - Nice boat ride out to the very small island. Was probably 150 people on the island for the day we went and you wouldn’t want any more people as all sun loungers etc taken. Lunch and drinks provided were very nice. Staff on island very friendly and helpful. Good value for money roughly $427 aud for family of 4. For what’s included you’d have to agree.
Didn’t bother us but be aware no jetty on the island so you’re tendered off the catamaran and onto shore which wouldn’t really be possible for people with mobility issues.
In terms of snorkeling when the sun rays came out you didn’t have to venture too far from shore to see most of the finding nemo cast. Waves were very gentle and the current was nice and safe pushing you back to shore. Which was reassuring with 2 little kids.
Like most South Pacific beaches they’re very coral-ly instead of sand. So bring water reef shoes if you can.
Probably not quite as good as say lifou or mystery island if you’ve been to those but for the price and being able to be done well in half a day it’s worth going.

Great choice as a last... - Great choice for last minute excursion if you don’t have all day to spend. Selected this trip for my last day in Fiji and had a blast!

Worth the trip! - We enjoyed our half day trip over to south sea island. Lunch was decent and the open bar was appreciated. Lots to do if you want (kayak, snorkel etc) or just enjoy the sun! It wasn’t too busy when we went so there were lots of places to sit. Staff were lovely and in particular the staff of the semi-submersible who were very helpful when I got a bit claustrophobic on the journey.

Great time - We enjoyed our half day trip to the islands! Enjoyed the boat trip and the sun on the way and the food was great, reminded us of typical Islander food so was nice to have something familiar. The free drinks was also a nice touch.
Also treated to a performance with the meal.
There were not many people on the trip so it was nice to have the island all to ourselves!
The semi submersible trip was so nice! I didn't even know they did that but was really cool to see all the aquatic life so close.
The water was lovely and cool on a hot day, like the other reviews, I would recommend taking water shoes with you as its quite rocky and uneven on the shore floor so can be hard to stand/walk on.
It ended up raining hard in the last hour of our trip so we all had to stand underneath small shelter till our boat ride back came.
Otherwise, a nice experience. Would do it again.

Did not see the coach arrive to pickup - The experience on the island was great, except only that we didn’t see the coach arrive to Radisson blu resort at 11:20 despite arriving 10 minutes earlier as said on the important note. We organised the pickup and was confirmed, there was also no call whatsoever to confirm our whereabouts. We were fortunately able to make it only because we called to ask whether the coach was coming or not, and had a rental car or we would have missed the boarding time.

There was not enough... - There was not enough snorkels and masks for the visitors and ones I got hold of were old and leaked
There was not enough kayaks and associated to explore the island
The coral in front of the resort was 4/5 dead with no protection from humans further damaging what is left

Couldn't go around - I wanted to take a trip with them. I checked at the airport. No need to book unless I want the transfer included. For safety and as in any case, I do not think I could have booked very little time yet. I sent a WhatsApp message. No answer for several hours, well after the boat leaves. The owner of my apartment then called them. A woman told us to come right away and that the boat would be waiting for us. My hostess told them her husband was going to drive me right away.
We arrived in time but the boat was already gone!
They told me I had to book! Finally I wasted my time and money for a round trip taxi. They offered me the tour for the next morning. But I told them I have just 1 afternoon and 1 night in Fiji between flights. They also had my boss's phone. Their brochure mentions booking via WhatsApp. To avoid
