Best snorkeling, but bring earplugs 🤗🦪🪸🐡🐟🐠🦀🏝️ - Beautiful snorkeling, friendly staff. The island is tiny and well looked after. One thing I would remove is the music- especially next to the hammocks at the beginning of the jetty. It is hard to relax when lame club music is blasting so loud. It's fine to have music in the restaurant but please not at the relaxing hammocks when I want to hear the ocean or have a nap.

10/10 - Malamala was incredible! We had the best time. From the moment you step foot onto the island you are blessed with beautiful surroundings of clear water and white sand. We didn’t pay the extra for a cabana or poolside lounger and we were happy with that decision because there were plenty of lounging options. We had Mesu waiting on us for the day and he was amazing, so friendly, and went out of his way to find us around the island just to inform me there wasn’t a certain ingredient in a dish I ordered! He made our day extra special. All of the staff however were so warm and friendly and always feels good to be greeted by beautiful smiles from the lovely women at the check in desk. We only used the snorkeling equipment because we didn’t want to do anything but look at the corals and fish as they were breathtakingly beautiful. Absolute highlight of our time. We would highly recommend Malamala beach club. Sun, sand, food, cocktails and clear water… doesn’t get much better than that!

Great time at Malamala😊 - Overall, we very impressed with our experience at the Malamala Beach Resort. The snorkelling in particular was above expectations, with lots of colourful coral and plenty of fish to look at (including some rays and small reef sharks). The paddle boards and kayaks were great. We booked a poolside lounge which was nice but decided if we came back we wouldn’t bother. It got a bit noisey with some drunken quests so we moved to a quieter part of the island. There are plenty of loungers around the place. The food and beverage service was generally good but we had to wait a hour for our lunch order to arrive and it seemed to take a long time for drinks to arrive too. It was busy however, with the staff working hard and yet they were as happy and affable as usual. Perhaps a few more staff dedicated to this area would have been helpful. Mesu, in particular was a standout and we extend a big Vinaka to him! Highly recommend Malamala island for a great day trip.

A must do in Fiji! - I highly recommend reserving a beach cabana, they come with butler service. Our day on Mala Mala was amazing. The snorkeling is amazing, the coral reefs are beautiful. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Beach cabanas 3 and 4 are close to the water sport booth, the Malamala swing, the restrooms, the reception and infinity pool.

Couldn’t get any better! - What an amazing trip! Air con transport made the ride to and from relaxing. A private cabana provided us with comfort and shade. The staff provided amazing service too. We had one staff member named Eroni who was waiting on us from the moment we got there. He took my 9 year old son to husk coconuts, sorted his snorkelling gear, was checking in to take any drink/food and was an all round amazing person! The food was great- I recommend the sliders, yum! Overall, this was an amazing day!

Amazing island with lots to do! - This excursion is definitely a must-do if you are visiting Fiji, especially if you are staying in the Denarau area. The boat ride is about a 20-30 minute trip and it was aboard a very comfortable and modern yacht. Once you arrive you are greeted by a long pier leading to the island that makes for excellent photo opportunities (check my pics!). once you've reached the island you will have to check in with the staff to get your towel card and to make any other arrangements. My tip would be to find an area first to put your belongings because all the good spots get taken pretty quick! What I loved about this island was how beautiful and spacious it was and all the different things you can do, from snorkeling, lounging in the hammocks, eating at the restaurant, enjoying the infinity pool, or just taking a nice trek around the whole island to soak in the scenery. They also have kayaks to rent as well as snorkeling equipment if you didn't bring any. The food at the restaurant was delicious and they even have wi-fi access! For those who are like me who love to snorkel this is definitely an excellent place to swim around and see some wonderful sea life. I was able to see a crown of thorns, a white tipped shark, and plenty of colorful fish. One can really get lost in the beauty of this place, it's both amazingly relaxing and fun. My only complaint is how quickly time goes by because I could spend all day on this island if it was allowed, and unfortunately there is no overnight stays (which is understandable since the workers need to get home as well). It was a bittersweet moment while leaving on the yacht with all the staff waving goodbye to you with an amazing sunset in the backdrop. Do NOT miss coming here, it's totally worth it!

Dissatisfied with Host and Staff - We were billed the full amount for a damaged cabana. After voicing our concern to the butler who helped replace the damaged pillow, we informed the host about our dissatisfaction. However, the host rejected our complaint, citing no prior complaints, and refused to offer a discount despite acknowledging our negative experience. Furthermore, the host implied that our issue stemmed from reluctance to pay, when our primary concern was the overall quality of the experience, and we were willing to pay for comfort.
