• Arachova - Lunch Stop. Enjoy time exploring the local craft shops and the breathtaking views over the Plestos Valley.
• Delphi - Set on wide terraces along the hillside, we are fortunate that the landslides of previous centuries preserved much of the ancient remains for us, including the 4th century BC Temple of Apollo, the Castalian Spring of mythology, theatre, treasury buildings, temples of Athena, and the gymnasium where athletes gathered before the Pythian games to bathe in the sacred waters. During your visit to Delphi, you can still see the physical structures associated with this incredibly long history.
• Temple of Apollo - A short distance inside the archaeological site, you will find the 4th century BC Temple of Apollo, the center of the mystical ceremony from where the Oracle delivered her prophecies.
• Delphi Archaeological Museum - A beautiful addition to the site is the modern museum, which displays artifacts dating back to at least 1500 BC, including many sculptures and other unique pieces that adorned the temples and streets of the ancient city at its peak around the 4th century BC. Notable pieces include the Naxos Sphinx, the twin Kouroi, and the famous Bronze Charioteer, among others. When you are ready, your driver will return you safely to your location in Athens.
