Delft pottery - The factory and museum was well worth the visit. Lots of historical information. You are also allowed on the factory floor. We got to see one of the painters in action.

A beautiful, educational museum - On Sunday afternoon this museum visited, which gives you a wonderful overview of Delft porcelain and pottery from distance from the factory in 1653. Also nicely explained how this old craft is carried out and how this is still done almost identically today. You get insight into how much manual work is involved, nice to see. In the museum shop you can buy numerous products in various price ranges. Enjoy delicious coffee, cake, high tea or lunch in the restaurant. Highly recommended!

A must in Delft - What a wonderful experience Understanding the history of the pottery was spellbinding and a sheer education I had no idea that Delft pottery wasn’t just blue and white . The exhibition gave such an insight to both the past and present pottery To be able to walk through the factory and watch such dedicated and talented people work was a pleasure

Wonderful afternoon - My daughter and I arrived at the Delft factory bedraggled and cold from a long walk from the market square, made so because a bridge was out and also due to our own unfortunate directional decisions. We were greeted warmly by Scot and told that the staff would arrange our high tea to begin sooner than our reservation time so that we could warm up and get comfortable. We had the most wonderful time and spent the entire afternoon having a gorgeous tea, touring the museum and factory with the provided audio tour, and buying many things in the gift shop! There were only two others visiting the museum, so we were able to walk along the factory floor and ask as many questions as we could think of for the master painter, poor man. ;-) I can only imagine how crowded it gets in the summer when the tour buses pull up, but we had a glorious time reading and seeing every little thing by ourselves. The afternoon tea was amazing, and they made an entirely different lactose-free tier of food for me, which was much appreciated. As we were leaving, Scot showed us historical photos of the city of Delft and directed us to a shorter and very enjoyable walk back to the train station, with the directions of "just follow the bikes". We were successful in doing just that! A big thanks to the staff of the museum for this hospitality!

Fun outing - Very interesting, super friendly welcome. From history to the factory to the painter. All not too big, but top organized. Audio is included in the price.

Fantastic visit with family - Second time through the museum, both times with high tea, first time doing the tile painting workshop. I love this place (and I'm not a huge museum fan). It's thoughtfully laid out and gives great information on the audio tour (there's even an audio tour for kids!). Besides for the beautiful museum, the highlight of the day was definitely the employees! In the museum itself there are knowledgeable staff on hand that have fun facts, and answer questions, but the standout star of our family day was Scott at reception! He was amazing, accommodated our change in times, gave us the best hints and tips, and is the best brand ambassador I have come across in my travels!
