Self guided walk - The tour is self guided… reading panels in each room, looking at samples and watching screens showing how it is done. It was well laid out, informative and we enjoyed it. There is an option for using an audio player but it says the same thing and we didn’t use it much. There are some very cool and interesting displays. Walking through the factory was cool and you can stop to watch someone working on the pieces and someone painting. Happily spent quite a long time in there reading and watching it all.

Bluer than blue it is Delft blue - Very nice. Absolutely recommended to go once if you like culture and beautiful objects. Educational to see how it is made and how the Delft blue becomes so beautiful blue.

Very worth seeing! - Very worth seeing and insightful. Historical background, also with the economic importance for the Netherlands, is very well brought closer to one.

Not only ceramics - If you are fond of ceramics this place will totally absorb you and you will never want to leave. The path dedicated to visitors has been organized in a careful and meticulous way, starting from the feeling of belonging of contributes to the greatness of the brand. From raw materials, to the design-creative flow, to the videos that position the product, to the collections, to the company milestones, to the factory path up to retail. Nothing is given to chance to make it clear what makes the product unique and how many heads (and hands) it takes to make it important. I recommend it not only to fans of the genre, but also to those who work in HR, marketing and branding.

An absolute MUST to see - This tour is an absolute MUST. Delft is an integral part of the dutch heritage and this museum and tour is really well organized. Delft is a lovely town not far from Amsterdam so it's an easy train trip and about a 15 minute walk from the train station. There's also a very sweet cafe at the museum that is great for lunch.

- 🔷 Visit of the Royal Delft – April 12, 2025 As part of our road trip to the Netherlands, we discovered the Royal Delft, a fascinating place that offers an immersive experience in the heart of centuries-old craftsmanship. This unique museum combines history, know-how, workshop demonstration, craft shop and relaxation area, making it a rich, varied and original visit. 👍 What we particularly enjoyed: • Careful and pedagogical staging: the contents are clear, well structured, enriched with anecdotes and explanations on manufacturing techniques. • The peaceful and inspiring atmosphere: the historic 1900 building is beautiful, the inner garden invites relaxation, and the shuttle to the city center is a real plus. • ✅ A must visit for ceramics, decorative art or history enthusiasts. We were won over and had an unforgettable time in the heart of this Dutch heritage. A very nice stage of our journey, which we highly recommend!

For the independent traveler - The factory and shop was a very interesting experience. I wish there were a little more direction. Such as the time they open and close. There was no guide, but there was an audio guide with stops along the way. You are completely on your own.

Good with some reservations - Great museum and self guided tour. The hand painted porcelain is outstanding. The shop offers a good range for sale but perhaps could include seconds for the less wealthy (it used to do) The cafe stopped serving food at 15:00 ‘because we close at 17:00’ she told us, so while we had sauntered through our visit at a leisurely pace we were not able to have a meal which we were planning. It would have been very helpful to have been told this on arrival. Booking-in is internet dependent - providing a booking reference number is not sufficient so we had some initial difficulty due to phone problems. What is the point of a booking reference number if it can’t be tracked back? Sorrow felt that the gorgeous delft blue toilets and basins of latter years had been replaced with standard white fittings.
