Dehradun - 6:00 AM: Begin the day with a prompt 6:00 AM pickup from your hotel in Dehradun, followed by a 4-hour drive towards the Panthwari region.
Pantwari - Pantwari marks the last point with network connectivity. From here, a 2-kilometer trek starts at the end of the motorable road. The trek begins on a well-defined cemented path, transitioning to a rocky trail. After approximately 30 minutes of trekking, you will encounter a cluster of thatched-roof huts, forming a small village perched on a cliff with terraced farmlands. During harvest, these fields are vibrant with yellow and green hues. The Pantwari village is visible from this point. Before reaching the ridge, you will arrive at ‘Goat Village,’ an eco-tourism destination. Check into your pre-booked homestay and enjoy a delightful lunch. Spend the night in a comfortable, hygienic homestay with home-cooked hot meals.
Trek to Nag Tibba Summit, Descend to Goat Village, and Return to Dehradun via Panthwari
Nag Tibba - Today involves a moderate trek with a gradual ascent to the Nag Tibba base, followed by a steep climb to the summit. The total trek duration is approximately 4 hours (3 hours for the young and agile). As you approach the summit, the trail winds through a ridge, leading to the flag marking the Nag Tibba summit. The summit offers breathtaking views of the Garhwal Himalayas, with a stunning panorama of ice-capped ranges including Bandarpoonch, Gangotri, Kedarnath, Kala Nag, and more.
Spend some time at the summit, either soaking in the views or capturing them. We will then descend along the same trail. After lunch, we will make our way down to Pantwari. From Pantwari, it’s a 5-6 hour drive back to Dehradun, where you can choose to stay overnight or continue your onward journey.
Dehradun - Upon reaching Dehradun, you will be dropped off at your selected hotel in Dehradun or even in the Rishikesh area.
