All good! - Really nice! Everything was as advertised, we've seen more than a dozen elephants, deer, peacocks, crocodiles and more :) The transport to and from the hotel was very pleasant and i really enjoyed the lunch (especially the papadam). One thing I'd recommend to keep in mind is that the safari is quite long, so do get some rest before it!

Incredible day at Udawalawe - What an amazing day - being as close as you can get to wild elephants, having a riverside lunch below a canopy of monkeys and excellent guides (Pasidu, Dammika & Sampath) and service throughout the day. This was definitely one ticked off the bucket list - thanks team!

Amazing day - Had an amazing time at Udawalawe park for nearly 3.5 hours. Our Safari driver was great. He made sure we got to see all the animals possible including elephants family with a baby very closely. Great tour overall from pick up to drop off. Thanks to both drivers and BTM for wonderful service.

Long drive but worth it - Day trip from Bentota was just over a 2hr drive but it was worth it. The park is huge and there are a lot of jeeps that feels like you are in a traffic jam at some points while other times there is no one else around. Saw Elephants, crocodile, buffalo, monkeys and lots of birds. Elephants were really close and didn’t seem bothered at all there were jeeps right next to them and just carried on eating. The guide was excellent and really tried to explain what we were seeing and what types of birds we saw. Elephant transit centre was a nice inclusion, great to see the babies playing. Lunch was nice and in a local restaurant, you can have the Sri Lankan buffet or order off the menu. Overall an excellent trip and would recommend

Udawalawe - Wow what an amazing trip and life experience! Everything was outstanding!! Sam organised our twins 18th birthday trip to Udawalawe and went beyond and above to make their trip unforgettable. Sam communication was great, keeping me informed of everything organised and we could have not asked for a better day ! The fauna and flora in the park it’s extraordinary, photos cannot quite capture what you see and the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. We cannot praise enough how wonderful everyone was and that you made our day so so very special! ( P. S. My husband wants me to mention the Toyota truck used for safari , he absolutely loved it and indeed was very comfortable)

Highly recommend this great day out! - This was a great experience from the off. Our last minute booking was confirmed quickly with concise details on the following days safari. Dinesh, our driver, picked us up from the hotel at 4am and drove us to the National park. He was courteous and chatted about various sights along the way. On arrival we were greeted by our jeep safari driver, Lahiro and picked up our guide, Mahesh, as we entered the park. The whole experience was fantastic. We saw a herd of elephants almost immediately. Mahesh helped to identify different species of birds and we were lucky enough to spot more elephants, crocodiles, water buffalo to name just a few. Lunch was included at a local restaurant. On the way back we stopped at the Elephant Transit Home to watch the orphaned young elephants being fed. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and would highly recommend! Thank you Bentota Travel Mart and your fabulous team.

Udawalawe Safari - A fabulous, memorable day. We were collected from our hotel, taken round the Safari park in a jeep with a very knowledgable guide. We saw lots of elephants include a family group bathing, monkeys, peacocks and lots of colourful birds, water buffaloes and a wild dog. We had lunch then visited an elephant orphanage which was fascinating. A great experience.

Very disappointed - Not the greatest experience, not a lot there, I know you can't expect animals to come out just because you want them to but it was a long trip to see 2deer a couple of elephant and some birds. If you can go to yala instead. The elephant sanctuary is worth the trip
