A great activity to do in Konstanz - My visit to SEA LIFE Konstanz was very pleasant! The aquarium is quite small, but very well maintained. Being Saturday there were obviously many families with children, and therefore it was not always possible to stop for long in front of the pools. The winning point of SEA LIFE Konstanz is clearly the penguins, which are obviously beautiful! If you are in a hurry, it is more than feasible to visit the entire aquarium in a scant hour. The location is easy to find and well located near the central station and the border between Germany and Switzerland.

Cool event for young and old - We were there for the Animal Crossing event, and had a good time in the afternoon. The stamps and the tasks were appropriate and info from Eugene about the animals was also cute. In general, the presentation of SeaLife in Constance is quite good, not too old-fashioned. Just in the descriptions of some species, we thought that was a bit too ''sensationalistic'' written.

Short excursion - Fast admission with voucher. A little crowd on Sunday. Still nice for the kids. Painting pictures and beaming them onto the screen was a great experience for the kids and they were busy with it for a long time.

Overcrowded. It's no fun. - So crowded that you can't enjoy the visit in any way. In front of every hole so small shop window a cluster of people. If you stop somewhere are right in front of, behind, next to a guy. If you already have to book time slots for admission, the number should be reduced to the extent that you also get something out of it. But this is all about mass and profit. It's a shame because it could be really nice. Were through in 50 minutes as we could not stop anywhere. All the running paths in the aquarium are not made for such crowds, it jams up everywhere and is loud. Were very disappointed.

Animal welfare - The price is unfortunately really high for what is on offer. You get through very quickly. But what is even more worrying is the welfare of the animals. Rays in too small tanks, fish in loveless aquariums without greenery and the penguins on white painted concrete slabs in a small room with a glass pane. It's a pity and it's questionable. Please think about the welfare of the animals and not just the turnover.
