We’ll be back! - It’s a whirlwind experience. Yes, we were able to visit quite a few places and were even able to enjoy boba tea and a bowl of beef brisket noodles (yum!) but timing played a big role. We came on a Friday afternoon so traffic and parking were major concerns. Jackson was a rockstar navigating through the streets and was kind enough to take us to a Catholic Church we requested. It’s “custom” tour for a reason so don’t shy away from asking and he’d do his best. He even took our photos. It’s still way better than waiting 10 hrs at the airport, given Taoyuan has quite a pleasant one. If you have time for 8 hrs I highly recommend you take it, check in was a breeze when we got back but we didn’t want to risk missing our next flight so we went back earlier than we should have.

Great Introduction to Taipei - My tour guide, Paul, made this tour interesting and a lot of fun. For my tour, we visited the Chiang Kai-shek memorial, the Lungshan temple, Taipei 101 tower and the Raohe night market. The night market was a lot of fun and had some very tasty foods. Airport pickup and drop-off made this tour very convenient.

We had a 22‑hour layover in Taipei and decided to make the most of it with a tour—and it turned out to be one of the best decisions of our whole trip. Our guide, Paul Yang, was absolutely outstanding.
From the very beginning, Paul brought the experience to another level. He was incredibly knowledgeable about Taiwan’s history, culture, and food, and he had a great sense of what we would enjoy most. His storytelling made every stop richer and more meaningful, and he took us to hidden gems we would have never discovered on our own.
Jiufen Old Street was a highlight, with its lantern‑lit alleys, scenic views, and amazing street food. Paul knew all the right shops and food stalls to visit, and every recommendation he made was perfect. It felt like exploring with a local friend rather than a guide.
If you have a long layover—or even just a day in Taipei—book a tour with Paul Yang. The sights, the food, and Paul’s exceptional guidance made this an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

Great way to get an introduction to Taipei - I thought this was a great introduction to Taipei with a long layover at the airport. I saw the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, changing of the guard, and the National Theater and Concert Hall. I really enjoyed seeing the Lungshan Temple and Raohe night market. Paul Yang did a great job with his stories, information and food introductions.

Taipei Adventure with Aaron - Aaron was very knowledgeable of the historical sites he had taken us. Wished we had more time but he made the most out of it and saw some interesting places we would otherwise missed if not for him. Highly recommended!!

Bubble was an excellent... - Bubble was an excellent guide. Picked us up at the airport. Gave us a really nice tour of Taipei and then brought us back with plenty of time for our onward flight. Great way to spend an extended layover.

Excellent, knowledgeable, flexible guide. 5+++ experience. - We thoroughly enjoyed our tour! Our guide, Jack, clearly loves what he does and shared some of his vast knowledge of the history and culture of Taiwan. He was responsive to our interests and tailored the tour to more than meet our expectations. He took us to see some incredible sights, a great place for beef noodle soup and entertained us with the history of beautiful, fascinating, Taiwan. An easy 5+ stars!

Just do it - Nicolas Ying is so knowledgeable, organized and fun. Art, architecture, music, markets and motor bikes. He knew it all. Highly recommended.

Vincent was a great tour... - Vincent was a great tour guide. I wasn't aware we were going to communicate via whatsapp so there was a bit of a rough start in finding him, but once I realized he had contacted me via WhatsApp we were able to find him.
He did a great job of taking us to the points of interest that we wanted. He went above and beyond to take care of us, even went to Louis Vuitton to pickup our passport hot foil stamping while we were eating! He felt more like a friend than a tour guide.
I'm so used to being the family photographer, so you can imagine how happy I was that he got some fantastic photos with me in them! He's a great photographer.
