Surprising Kaohsuing - We were impressed with our guide Aaron even before the tour began. He contacted us the evening before to give us clear instructions on the meeting place. Due to adverse sea conditions we were arriving earlier than expected & staying overnight. With no time constraints for getting back to the ship, Aaron offered to change the timings of the tour if we so desired. We really appreciated this. Aaron was waiting for us when we got off the ship & our tour of Kaohsuing city began in his clean air conditioned car. After seeing the sights of the city, we headed out to Fo Guang Shan Monastery where we spent the next few hours. What a magnificent place it is! From there we headed out to the Dragon & Tiger Pagodas & the many (often crazy) Daoism temples surrounding Lotus Pond. Throughout the day we were given so much information on the history & culture of Kaohsuing, which made it extremely rewarding. A tour not to be missed.

So happy with this... - So happy with this experience spending the day with Ben. He was patient, entertaining and adapted the tour to suit our needs. It was a great way to see a number of sights in this city when we only had a limited amount of time.

Kaohsiung one day tour - Our tour guide Charlie was very helpful and informative, he has good knowledge of Kaohsiung and Taiwan history and culture significance, he drives carefully and took a lot of pictures for us. I would highly recommend him.

Our tour guide Charlie Lee was great! - We had a great time with our tour guide Charlie Lee. He spoke English for me and Mandarin to my parents. He was very knowledgeable and kind- and very patient and thoughtful. My father is elderly and can’t get around easily so he made sure to accommodate for us. He had water, tissues, umbrellas and even lychee treats for us for the trip. Our favorite was the Buddha museum, the would recommend this tour!

Taiwan tour with Gary don't miss it. - We had a full day tour with Gary, Gary was wonderful and very knowledgeable. My sister had a mobility scooter and he was very careful to take us to places we could all enjoy. Had a terrific local lunch and highly recommend you tour with Gary. He makes the visit to taiwan memorable.

Awesome visit - Had a great visit Kaohsiung. The full day tour was awesome. Very knowledgeable tour guide and we saw the highlights plus had some very local food.

Splendid Time - Had a wonderful time with our guide Bruce Lee. He showed us around and even took us to a secret spot that was absolutely beautiful. Would definitely use him again when visiting Kaoshuing

Fantastically knowledgeable guide on an 8 hour day trip in Kaohsiung, Taiwan - The guide Charlie Lee was an outstanding guide on the 8 hour day trip - very knowledgeable about history and culture and a carefully planned itinerary. I was initially peeved that I had to pay double as a solo customer but I soon discovered it was worth it. He was very attentive and pleasant and I learned a lot about the city and its history and culture!

Full day - worth every penny - Charlie was an incredible tour guide. He captured our day in lots of great photos and filled the day with lots of nice above and beyond touches. We can't recommend this tour enough.

Half the tour time is at Bukkoji Temple - A four-hour stay at Bukko-ji is too long. I understand that half the time there means that Kaohsiung has few tourist resources.
