Excellent opportunity to see Darwin - Very informative. We got a good overall showing of Darwin and the beauty of the area. You can sit inside or upstairs. We drove to the war museum, and then caught the last bus back into town.

Start of a Darwin Holiday - The bus drivers are very friendly & helpful, giving us lots of information on where to go for our holiday in Darwin. The bus route is very well-planned, we can hop off to see the museums & hop on again after. Bus driver even waited for us knowing we had to catch the last bus! Hop on & off bus is the best way to spend your first day in Darwin, highly recommend it!

Small city with big history - A great way to see the important landmarks. Darwin is a small town. Many places have reduced hours due to off season. Also Covid had put a damper on businesses.

Great trip - The commentary was fun as well as informative. The tour took in so much of Darwin which was excellent. Highly recommendable.

City Overview - A great way to get an informative overview of Darwin. The commentary was clear and interesting with plenty of good photo opportunities as we went around. We did the entire loop first and then went back to the stops we wanted to see more of. The only downside was that the service finished at 4 pm.

Older bus, Big Bus Tours app doesn't include Darwin maps - Tour was OK but commentary difficult to hear as it was an old bus without headphones. Convenient that tour stops at cruise terminal but inconvenient in that the queue was more than 1 whole bus full, so further 20 minutes or so waiting in the heat for the next bus. App for the Big Bus Tours doesn't include Darwin maps so can't have live location of buses or details of stops. You can book tickets for Darwin via the app but it isn't one of the options if you want to "change cities" (it isn't listed). Maybe this is a work in progress...

No priority boarding for ticket holders - There should be priority boarding for passengers who have purchased tickets in advance. I approached the driver, but was told to join the back of the queue. I had to wait in the blazing heat for 30 minutes and saw one bus leave with at least 10 empty seats. The tour itself was a good way to see Darwin.

Feeling very ripped off. - We came via cruise ship. Midafternoon. Bought tickets $84 for the both of us (pensioners discount price)! We asked the person who sold us the tickets if they stop at the museum. The answer was yes, but failed to mention that we probably will be short on time. We didn’t get off at any other stop but the museum only to realize that the museum would close in 1/2 hour at 4pm and even worse, last hop on hop off was 4.25pm from the museum. There would have been some more stops we would have hoped off, but they also closed 4pm. So, you happily took our money, knowing very well we couldn’t utilize the tickets. So if you come via cruise in the afternoon, don’t buy a ticket, it’s a total waste of money!!
