The Best Litchfield Tour Ever! - Our tour guide picked us ( 2 x adults; 2 x children ages 13,and 14) up from The Argus Hotel and we instantly knew we were in for an amazing day. Our tour guide, Will, greeted us like we were long lost friends. First stop was the Jumping Crocodile Cruise and this was an experience that will stay with us forever. We were able to get right up close and learn all about these magnificent creatures. Will then took up into Litchfield NP. Along the journey he told is about bush tucker, wildlife, the history of Darwn, funny stories etc. He incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining. We were taken to see beautiful waterfalls and were fortunate enough to swim at Florence Falls. The lunch was delicious and the snacks were plentiful. Therecwas also plenty of toilet breaks along the way too. This tour was one of the highlights of our two week stay in Darwin.

Excellent - The quality of the experience of these types of tours depends so much on the tour guide. Our guide, Will, is most definitely at the top of his class. Everything ran smoothly and with good humor. What I found most interesting was Will's stories and information about NT and Darwin. I actually learned a lot about the area in addition to having a great day out

Best guided tour I've ever taken hands down. Will was incredibly funny and knowledgeable! I learnt heaps! - I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. I have travelled to over 112 countries and this was hands down the best guided tour I've ever done. Our guide Will kept us endlessly entertained with facts about the bush and great stories and jokes. He sorted us a very decent lunch and kept us constantly hydrated with ice water and fed with snacks. The crocodile cruise was something else. Terrifying but fascinating at the same time. Dylan knew loads about the Crocs and did a great job finding us several females, a baby and a male to feed. The swimming was great at the waterfall. Honestly, I wasn't bored a second of this 11 hour day trip. It was fantastic from start to finish and great value for what it was. I admire Will's energy! He was fantastic from start to finish. I'd say this is a must if you have a free day in Darwin. I am in Australia for a month touring and this was the best part of my trip so far (and I'm very near the end). By the way for Will - I have tried the Frontier beer at Punters bar at Frontier Hotel. Certainly not bad for 4 bucks a Schooner. It's brewed off site but for the Hotel.

BEST day... - The BEST day! We went on Good Friday and from the moment of pick-up to drop off... we were having a great time with Will, our tour guide. He was so knowledgeable, helpful, funny and just an all-round good guy! Taking us to the best spots for pics and then finding a swim spot and the lunch he prepared was fab. The early morning boat trip up the Adelaide River to see the crocs is something I will never forget, and Dylan was also an awesome guide. We can't recommend the tour enough. Anyone visiting the area - this is a must with the best guides in the business... thank you for making our 1st trip to the Territory so memorable. From the 2 ScAussie's from Perth, WA at the Mindil Resort :)

A great day with Litchfield Escapes - My wife Roz and I were initially going to book with another company when we heard from other people at the Darwin Tourist Centre how excellent this company Litchfield Escapes was. Boy were they right. From the moment we were picked up at our hotel by our driver and guide "Damo" to the time he brought us back we had had a truly unforgetable day. Damo's knowledge of flora and fauna would put David Attenbrough to shame. A great story teller as well, Damo thoroughly kept us entertained throughout the day. The experience on the Adelaide River watching an almost 6 metre crocodile leap out of the water close to our boat was enthralling to say the least. We found out so much today about these predators and how they live. Damo's ability to find unique local wildlife was amazing. I had mentioned to Damo that I had never seen a frill necked lizard and the next thing he pulls up on the side of the road and says "there's one". I couldn't see it but he had spotted one on the side of a tree 6 metres from the road! The session at the termite mound was amazing as well when Damo explained how they were built and even opened a small hole on one side to show us the ants. The lunch and snacks organised were also of a very good standard much appreciated. This is a very well organised and professional loacl company and we would have no hesitation in recommending 'LITCHFIELD ESCAPES'. Thanks Damo!

Brilliant day exploring Litchfield National Park with Will, a great guide! - We chose this tour because Litchfield is relatively close to Darwin and the tour group size was small - 14 on our trip. A very early morning bus pickup from our accommodation in Darwin and heading out to Humpty Doo to pick up the tucker trailer. The crocodile trip on the Adelaide river was very informative and exciting - with due care and respect for these incredible creatures in their natural habitat. The tour was very well paced with stop offs at v good viewing areas, creeks and falls. Our guide, Will, made the day for us. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the animals and plants and the crocodiles - all from lived experience, not just out of a book! And he kept us engaged and amused throughout a long but very enjoyable day. I would thoroughly recommend this trip, 5 star!!!!

Great tour guide and itinerary - Had a fantastic time on the one day tour. Our guide “Damo” was so knowledgeable and entertaining, during both the Croc Cruise and our tour through the National park. He even managed to find us a safe spot to have a little dip. Lunch and snacks were great, I would highly recommend this company and look forward to using them again on my next trip to Darwin.
