Darwin - Kakadu National Park
Kakadu National Park - The journey begins in Darwin, heading towards the wetlands area known as WakWak, just an hour away, where the stunning scenery of the top end is showcased. There is an opportunity to observe a wide variety of birdlife and apex predators like crocodiles. The adventure continues into Kakadu National Park, where local accommodations await, allowing further exploration of the natural beauty 300 km east of Darwin.
Bowali Visitors Centre - Time is taken to appreciate the park’s landscape and wildlife at the Bowali Visitor Centre before proceeding to the East Alligator region, the most northeastern part of Kakadu, for an unforgettable cultural tour.
Marrawuddi Arts & Culture - There is an option to take a scenic flight with Kakadu Air, providing a bird’s-eye view of Kakadu’s breathtaking landscapes, including escarpments, wetlands, and winding billabongs. Alternatively, a visit to Marrawuddi Arts and Culture, an Aboriginal art center, offers a chance to connect with the stories, traditions, and creativity of the region’s Indigenous communities.
Ubirr - In the same area, Ubirr Rock is visited, home to one of the best-preserved collections of Aboriginal Rock Art globally, with a climb to a high point for a breathtaking sunset. The day concludes with dinner back at the accommodation.

Kakadu National Park
Guluyambi Cultural Cruise - The group embarks on the Guluyambi Cultural Cruise along the East Alligator River, on the border of Kakadu and Arnhem Land, to experience the area’s creation stories, observe majestic birdlife, and hopefully spot crocodiles.
Nourlangie Rock - The day is dedicated to exploring art galleries and cultural centers that depict the stories of past and present clan groups from the north and south of Kakadu, extending into Arnhem Land. A guided walk through the Burrungkuy (Nourlangie) art site areas is enjoyed, with potential visits to Kunwarddewardde Lookout, Anbangbang Billabong, Nawurlandja, and possibly the Naguluwurr art site if the group desires more walking.
Jabiru - Kakadu - Katherine
Jabiru - After a relaxed morning, the journey continues southwest towards the next incredible destination of Katherine and Nitmiluk. The road south offers views of the vibrant earthy colors typical of the Northern Australian bush. Wildlife sightings may include the Red Tailed Black Cockatoo, Agile Wallabies, wild horses, and buffalo.
Pine Creek - Passing through the historic township of Pine Creek, there is a stop to stretch and enjoy refreshments, including homemade ice cream, a favorite among Top End locals. Stories of the Overland Telegraph construction and the Pine Creek gold rush era of the 1870s are shared.
Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge - After checking into Katherine accommodations, the adventure continues to the stunning Nitmiluk National Park and Katherine Gorge for the 2-hour NitNit Dreaming Two Gorge Cruise. This leisurely cruise offers a glimpse into the history and stories of this beautiful area, guiding through 70m sheer rock walls with wildlife around every corner. The area is rich in creation stories, providing a marvelous and relaxed atmosphere.
Katherine - After the cruise, the return to Katherine allows for relaxation in comfortable accommodations, enjoying local hospitality in preparation for the fourth and final day of exploring the region.

Katherine - Edith Falls - Darwin
Katherine Hot Springs - The morning is spent enjoying the Katherine area, with a visit to the Hot Springs for a refreshing dip, followed by a stop at the Top Didj Gallery to view local art and experience the bush tucker and bush medicine gardens.
Edith Falls - The journey continues south to the beautiful Edith Falls for more relaxation in the picturesque Top End surroundings, with a picnic lunch, a large plunge pool beneath a cascading waterfall, and a refreshing opportunity to cool off!
Darwin - The evening return to Darwin leaves everyone relaxed and refreshed after a cool swim, arriving in time to explore the famous Mindil Markets or enjoy a peaceful night at the accommodation, reflecting on the adventures and new friendships made.

- A minimum moderate level of fitness is required to complete the walks. Therefore a medium/high level of fitness is required and a doctor’s certificate is required for people over 70 years (30 days prior to travel).
- The tour operator must be notified of any known medical conditions at the time of booking. This is a very physical tour and requires a moderate level of fitness and mobility.
- While we endeavour to cater to most dietary needs, passengers must advise dietary requirements to their booking agent at the time of booking. As we are venturing to remote areas we are very limited in what we can source once the tour departs, therefore prior notice is required.
- This itinerary may vary to adapt to seasonal changes and occasionally spots in the parks close or do not allow swimming. As safety is our top priority we plan accordingly to ensure our guests have the most fun and best experience possible while on tour.
- Children aged between 8 to 17 years old must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian at all times. Not suitable for infants or children 7 years and under, due to safety requirements and the level of fitness required to complete the walk.
- Please ensure you have checked the average temperatures for the time of year you are travelling and have packed adequate clothing.
- Guests are asked to participate in the preparation of meals, clean up and vehicle unpacking/loading, so everyone can relax together after a long day of touring. It’s also a great way to get to know and connect with your fellow travellers.
