Absolutely brilliant safari - From start to end the experience with Jacob and Smile With Us was brilliant. We'd never been on safari before but Jacob made it simple, suggesting a fantastic 6-day trip from Dar es Salaam to Selous and Mikumi national parks. Nothing was too much trouble. On the day we started the wonderful driver and guide Omari showed up with a rugged Land Cruiser, which is just as well as there had been a lot of rain and the vehicle's 4-wheel drive was needed at times as we sloshed through deep mud and water. Throughout Omari was incredible. Really knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. He also has a deep respect and love for animals and wildlife, even to the extent of waiting for a column of soldier ants to cross the road in front of us. We saw elephants, lions, hippos, giraffe, buffalo, wildebeest, impala, warthogs, hyaena, zebra and loads of birds and other animals. Perhaps one of the highlights was seeing a huge crocodile eating a zebra on land right next to our vehicle while hordes of vultures waited to come in for their turn. Omari always seemed to have a six sense when it came to finding interesting things to see. He was also one of the most friendly and sociable people I've met, always stopping to chat and exchange info with other drivers and park rangers, or helping change a tyre on another car. The accommodation was good, and we never had to worry about food or water. There were long distances covered, especially driving between Selous and Mikumi, but for us that was part of the fun, and having the opportunity to see ordinary life across Tanzania. The last night was our wedding anniversary and Jacob arranged for a group of Maasai warriors to sing and dance for us at dinner while delivering a cake. Truly special memories. We can't recommend Smile With Us Tours enough. If you choose one company, choose this one.

Perfect Safari with expert driver. - An amazing experience. The whole process was smooth, Jocab and Izaak were excellent with their communications, contacted them from home, paid small deposit and the rest on the day of collection from our hotel. Our driver, Sixmund, was exceptional. His knowledge of the animals and where they could be was outstanding (been driving Mikuni/Neyeree Parks for years). We saw all of the big 5 animals except Rhino's, which are not found in these parks. Lots of elephants, lions, hippos, crocs and zebra's. Not to mention the baboons and impalas. We stayed at Mikumi National Cottages, Camp Bastian and Neyeree Tented Camp - the last 2 were amazing places to stay. We meet other people on safari visiting the same parks at the same time did not see as many animals as we did, or if they saw them they saw them from some distance. Sixmund was able to find the animals and knew when it was safe to get a little closer and when to stay back - his expertise made the difference. Would highly recommend getting in contact with Smile with us in Africa to arrange your safari. You can do this safari if you are staying in Zanzibar - however I would recommend doing at least a 2 or 3 day safari - people we met did a 1 day trip and found it very rushed to get around the park to see the animals.

The most memorable trip of a lifetime - An exceptional trip from beginning to end. We anticipated a small group on safari and a lot of jeeps all chasing the same animals … how wrong we were! This was just us and our amazing guide, Kassim. He soon learnt that we loved birds too and went out of his way to make sure he searched for birds as well as animals. Nothing was too much trouble and his knowledge and passion was beautiful. We paid a price that would be cheap for a group tour and got the most amazing memorable private trip of a lifetime. We were very rarely anywhere near any other jeeps and Kassims eager eye meant we saw all the big animals and at VERY close range…. We could have leant out and touched the lions and elephant as they walked past us!!! The river trip was also stunning and the trip the the Masai people was fantastic (not a tourist show at all) All in all - the best experience ever!!! Thank you so so much

Unable to attend, but they were great - I was unable to attend due to an illness. They were in constant communication and contact with me throughout the refund process and I received my refund in a timely manner. They were very nice and great communicators throughout the process. I can’t wait to try and rebook in the future, as it looks incredible and I was so bummed I was unable to attend.

Highly recommended! - loved doing a private safari - great divers and guides. Loved the game drives and we also did the hike to the Sanje waterfall. They are intense days with early starts and after the 5 days it was perfect that we had some time planned at the beach. Flying out of Selous to Zanzibar was a perfect ending. Highly recommend the company - they were great to deal with and quick to respond.

Great adventure - Amazing! Joachim was tireless, always very sweet and worried about us. It's true that we had some bad luck with some flat tires, but we always felt safe and supported by Joachim. We have an excellent reference of your company and we will recommend you to our friends. Best regards and until the next trip 😉

Perfect safari experience - The best safari experience you can find. Our personal guide Anthony was amazing! We had really good time and he made us feel safe throughout the whole trip. Best driver in Tanzania, he will take you anywhere and will find the best spots to buy local food, souvenirs and etc. We were never bored on the road, he showed us places on the way, explained about the life/culture in Tanzania and answered all questions we had. Always on time, super punctual and informed about everything you may need while on your tour. He made sure we saw all animals we wanted to see, so much knowledge and experience! Found lions on our day one which does not happen every day. Thanks for the wonderful experience and you won’t regret your decision if you take a tour with this company. If you want a perfect experience choose the best guide - Anthony!

Very good - The entire experience was memorable. We had a wonderful time. The process was smooth. Our guide, Allen, was fantastic. He was experienced, and just an all around good guy. He worked hard to get us into some good game. Be ready for some long drives in the vehicle. We were fine with it as the juice was worth the squeeze.

Great experience! - Great service and value for money. The communication was fast and easy on WhatsApp. Payment was done safely online. The driver of the game drive, Salum, was great and we felt very safe. He showed us lots of animals and was great with our 6 year old daughter. We also loved the bush walk, which was great entertainment! Just keep in mind that cash is the only method of payment wile at the safari camp. Luckily Jacob was able to help us with that as well. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend Smile with us tours!
