Journey from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi Park

Morogoro - On the route to Mikumi, travelers will pass through Morogoro town, renowned as one of Tanzania’s most picturesque cities. It offers a splendid view of Uluguru Mountain, part of the Eastern Arc Mountains.

Mikumi National Park - Guests will be picked up from a designated location in Dar es Salaam and head to Mikumi National Park. The journey takes approximately 6 hours, including a lunch break at a restaurant in Morogoro Town. After lunch, the adventure continues with afternoon game drives in the park, which is home to elephants, lions, wild dogs, zebras, hyenas, buffaloes, wildebeests, elands, hartebeests, crocodiles, lizards, and other wildlife.
