TRANSFER TO MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK
Dar Es Salaam War Cemetery - Early morning meet the jeep and the guide and transfer to Mikumi National Park with lunch upon
arrival. This will be followed by checking into your rooms then a late afternoon game drive You
will view the sunset activities of a variety of animal species such as Elephants, Giraffes, Gazelles,
Kudus, Impalas also Birds and take in the scenery until 6:30pm before driving back for dinner and
your overnight stay in the government Bandas or Campsite, Then later evening you will have a
night game drive for 3-4 hours.

OK safari, long and slow drive from Dar - Guiding in the park is very good, saw quite a lot of animals including lions and a glimpse of a leopard. But 7 hours of driving from Dar is dreadful - on top of that, long discussions about accommodation in the park. It is probably better to fly to Kilimanjaro Airport and go on safari from Arusha
