You will be accompanied by a representative from Luxor who will collect you from your hotel to embark on a journey of discovery of historic locations. The excursion commences with a trip to Abydos, the place where ancient Egyptians believed the Underworld’s ruler was entombed. King Seti I initiated the construction of the temple, which was finished under the reign of King Ramsess II, also recognized as the Seti I temple. Situated around 420 km south of Cairo in the Sohag Government, the temple lies in Abydos city, approximately 135 km from Luxor. The Osiris Temple at Abydos features some of the finest preserved paintings of Egyptian Gods and Pharaohs on its walls. Following this, we proceed to Dendera to explore the Temple of Hathor, the deity of affection and happiness, located in Dendera, north of Luxor.
