- Inveraray Castle - While in Inveraray, visitors may choose to explore the fairy-tale castle, home to the Duke of Argyll, leader of the Clan Campbell. Please note that the interior of Inveraray Castle is closed to visitors from October to March.

Breathtaking Scenery Matched Only by Excellent Service - While the Highland Experience destinations are breathtaking, what truly stands out are the guides. Our guide, JR, was excellent. He provided a perfect blend of history, humor, and personal insights. He selected delightful music. I highly recommend this tour and this tour company. Excellent service from booking to drop off. We will book again when we return.

Rob is the best! - We had a wonderful day. Rob was a great guy and took great care with us. This was a smaller group tour with a maximum of 16.

Oban - Today we had a tour booked to Oban, one word; Fantastic! Our guide Hugh was amazing! Very passionate about the things he told us and even stopped somewhere where i could see some cow’s! The tour itself was also very beautiful. We saw some loch’s, little towns and a few castles along the way. Oban itself was fantastic as-well. Would really recommend this tour. Thank you so much Hugh and Highland experience. Greetings from the Netherlands! See you next time!

10/5 ! - I have been on quite a few daytrip bus tours from Edinburgh in the past years, with different tour companies. I have to say this has been by far my favourite - Hugh was an amazing guide, giving us the perfect mix of funny dad jokes and interesting facts about Scotland. He also has a really good playlist (no proclaimers for once, yay!)
We even had time for some extra stops and one of those stops was the highlight of the day for me. Oban is always worth a visit and a great place if you want to see something different from the classic (and much busier) Loch Ness route. Would (and probably will during my next visit to Scotland) book this tour again!

Great! - Chloe was a great driver and guide! Even after we waited, a half an hour in Glasgow for a group of 10 that didn’t show up!
Trained in drama and a self-described history nerd! She really knew her history!

Edinburgh to Oban Highlands Tour - Ask your guides to articulate that tickets for Inverary Castle have to purchased there. Yes, we know you must have had a disclaimer in the pre tour info but it doesn’t take more than a second for the driver to say that before deboarding the bus! Many countries do not charge tickets for some of their landmarks including Washington, D.C. This was our first stop at a landmark in Scotland. Also, the available time in Oban was not explained well. It was rush rush when we finally got there. The seafood fast food place the driver recommended was CASH ONLY. Found out after standing in line for 15 minutes. Again, the driver could have mentioned that! He, in fact eats there.

Reached Inveraray Castle at 4pm. Just when the castle was closing for visiting. - We went on this tour with the specific desire to visit Inveraray Castle Paul (the tour driver who told us his life story the whole time of the tour) reached Inveraray Castle at 4pm. Just when the castle was closing for visiting. It was very sad to take this tour and the only wish we had was to visit the only attraction we reached so late.
