Highlights
  • John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza - The John F. Kennedy Memorial was the first memorial by famed American architect and Kennedy family friend Philip Johnson, and was approved by Jacqueline Kennedy. Johnson called it “a place of quiet refuge, an enclosed place of thought and contemplation separated from the city around, but near the sky and earth.” Dallas raised $200,000 for the memorial by August 1964, entirely from 50,000 individual donations contributed by private citizens.
  • Dealey Plaza National Historic Landmark District - Called the “birthplace of Dallas”. It was the location of the assassination of U.S. President John F. Kennedy, on November 22, 1963. The Dealey Plaza Historic District was named a National Historic Landmark in 1993 to preserve Dealey Plaza, street rights-of-way, buildings and structures by the plaza visible from the assassination site, that have been identified as witness locations or as possible locations for assassins.
  • Grassy Knoll - The grassy knoll is a small, sloping hill inside the Dealey Plaza and adjacent by the former Texas School Book Depository. It became well known following the assassination of John F. Kennedy. The knoll was above Kennedy and to his right (west and north) during the assassination on November 22, 1963.
  • The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza - If you purchase the option that includes the entrance to the JFK Museum at Dealey Plaza, we will leave you at the museum’s entrance at the end of the tour. You can skip the line and go directly to the visitors’ desk to collect your headsets equipment for a self-guided tour, the museum visit generally takes 40-60 minutes.

Kevin's JFK adventure tour! - My husband and I came on a spontaneous trip from Nebraska to Dallas. We were looking for something to do and found this walking tour. Little did I know, that Kevin would blow our minds!!! We were hanging on his every word. Then we met Pat who also blew our minds. Kevin was extremely educated, friendly, and entertaining. People of all ages would really enjoy this tour. Went the beginning of November in the morning. My husband and I were warm the entire time. You even end up in the art district and have a free ride back to downtown. 12/10 recommended a tour with kevin!

Fantastic tour - We took the walking tour on 6/18 and had the tour to ourselves!! Kevin was absolutely wonderful and a ton of fun! Learned so much more than I ever knew and we were taken to places off the beaten path like the rooming house and the theater where Oswald was finally arrested. I recommend to anyone visiting Dallas! Thanks Kevin!! Jennifer and Ramon

Worth Every Penny - My favorite part of the tour was just to see Dealey Plaza live and in person. It's so different than what you see on TV and on film. Our tour guide did an excellent job. He was quite knowledgeable and kept me thoroughly locked in on each part of the tour.

Walking tour - Kevin did an amazing job on this tour. He created a compelling narrative using facts, not fiction. He allowed me to form my own opinion on this tragic part of American history. He was friendly, professional and answered my questions with knowledge. I highly recommend this tour and Kevin as your tour guide!

Amazing tour - Our tour guide Kevin made our experience very enjoyable. He was knowledgeable and was always willing to answer any questions we might have. He went back for us when we got lost looking for the meeting spot and we really appreciated that. He also had the best Russian accent lol. It was an amazing experience!!😊

Best tour in Dallas! - Our tour guide, Kevin, was amazing! He knew so many details on JFK and the assassination, but also about Lee Harvey Oswald. He set the scene very well, and by the end of the tour, it felt like you were almost there that day.

Enlightening...there is so much more to the story than shared at the time of the assassination. - Guide Kevin was a wealth of knowledge. He not only provided a big picture of the JKF assassination, he provided many, many small details that piqued our curiosity and interest. My party of three left eager to explore and learn more of the story.

Dramatic walking tour - Kevin was awesome, and the tour was everything you would expect and more. Both parts, Dealey Plaza and the LHO rooming house with Oak Leaf, were equally intense. Kevin’s drama experience and engaging personality made the monologue unique. Highly recommend!

Learn the Details! - Very informative tour. Our guide, Kevin, was knowledgeable about JFK and the many details of his tragic death and the aftermath. We enjoyed all of the tidbits of information and the pace of the tour was good. We had two kids in our group, but they had no problem staying interested and keeping up. Would highly recommend!
