Yolyn Am - Initially designated to protect the area’s avian species, Yoliin Am has gained greater renown for its distinctive cliffs and extraordinary landscape. This valley, nestled within the Gobi Desert, boasts ice formations that persist throughout most of the year, often several meters thick.

The modest natural history museum located at the entrance on the main route to Yolyn Am houses an impressive array of dinosaur remains, taxidermied birds, and a snow leopard exhibit. Additionally, there’s a cultural museum situated in a traditional ger tent that merits exploration.

Be on the lookout for the fascinating fossilized wood found along the roadside. The park ranger station and museum offer a variety of appealing souvenirs, such as scenic paintings and, surprisingly, one of the most extensive collections of Mongolian postage stamps available.

We’ll explore every corner of the Gobi, including Vulture Gorge, also known as Eagle Valley, and the Khongor sand dunes. We’ll also make a stop at Bayanzag, a place once inhabited by dinosaurs. Nights in the Gobi are an experience in itself, amazingly serene, and adorned with innumerable twinkling stars. You’ll witness breathtaking sunrises and sunsets in the Gobi. Aside from the stunning natural landscapes, we’ve planned various activities such as hiking in the mountains, triumphing the sand dunes, two-humped camel rides, and interacting with nomads.
