- Crocodile Express Daintree River Cruises - One hour cruises depart regularly from both Daintree Village as well as from Daintree Gateway which is located 200 meters before Daintree River Ferry Crossing. This gives visitors the best opportunities to see wildlife and the diversity of this amazing eco system. From rainforest to mangroves the scenery is spectacular. The Upper Daintree section from Daintree Village is especially popular for bird watching and departures from near the Daintree River Ferry Crossing (Daintree Gateway) offers spectacular views of Thornton Peak, rainforest and mangroves.
Please note your first cruise will depart from Daintree Village, Check-in is at Daintree Tourist Information Centre located in Daintree Village. Times listed above are from Daintree Village Only. All extra bonus cruises can depart from either Daintree Village or from near Daintree Ferry river crossing. Look for the big Croc Head Kiosk. Cruise times available from near the ferry will be advised on check-in in the village.

Additional Information
- Collapsible wheelchairs with removable wheels can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them board and disembark. Cruise from Daintree Village Jetty only suitable.
- Extra cruises are free for up to 30 days. Daintree Explorer Pass is free and subject to seat Fare paying passengers on their first cruise are given priority on seat availability. Second cruise free passengers are welcome to return on a later cruise date for up to 30 days. Proof of identity and Crocodile Express Pass is required on all passengers travelling on ‘extra cruise’.

Loved it - Excellent value to do the 2 cruises..both guides were excellent...spotted a number of crocodiles, snakes and birds..highly recommend

Excellent operator - Jaden did a great job looking for crocs and pointing out local wildlife. I recommend this tour to anyone that wants to see saltwater crocodiles!

Great experience and amazing guide! - Jan our guide was very knowledgable and kind. Would most definitely recommend this experience. They were extremely accommodating considering Cyclone Jasper, instead of cancelling we did the tour earlier.

Crocodiles in nature. - Fantastic tours, fantastic knowledgeable guides. Had the pleasure of doing 2 trips for the price of one, both very worth while.

Enjoyable and educational - We did Lowe Daintree and 2 days later did the upper Daintree.
Both skippers were knowledgeable, friendly and engaging which made both trips a pleasure.
Definitely felt better than going to a Croc zoo or Croc Farm. Got to see Crocs baking in the sun, swimming and little ones trying to stay hidden. Got to see some different birds & a snake in a tree.
Definitely worth doing.

Great value, unique experience - My wife and I had a great time on our cruise. The captain/guide was super enthusiastic, knowledgeable and friendly, while the overall service and experience was fantastic. We ended up seeing 5 different crocodiles across the hour cruise. Highly recommended!

Great Short River Cruise. - Pretty Good Cruise down the river. Guaranteed to see a croc I reckon.We saw a few including the Boss. ScarFace. Good easy cruise with great commentary. Excellent price. If coming from Cairns allow at least 2.5 driving to get there. so windy and pretty drive.

Poor experience - I was expecting to see some of the untouched river and rainforest. The whole time I could see houses and power lines. It was not my favorite experience. We just rode around in a big circle maybe 1 mile up and 1 mile down the river. The cyclone decimated this area. I wouldn’t recommend this activity. Maybe in a year.
