Adventure trip to the max - Lots of adventure with amazing crew. We had the best time on this trip. The diving site was not big but it had a lot of fish. We were glad that we had to rent wetsuit as the water is colder around the reef, and one hour snorkling was perfect Our guide was out for helping - but we was snorkling more or less for ourselves. Food was great The dessert walk in the canyon was so beautiful - and even it is not the biggest canyon there was time for photos, climbing and be an adventura person. Highly recommended

Day tour dahab and canyon - Very professional service and the best trip ive been to so far in egypt. Tour guide Ahmed is very experienced and made us feel welcomed. He went out of his way to make sure our day went smooth. Started off by visiting dahab then went snorkeling in the sea. We then had lunch and made our way to canyon. Camel ride wae amazing. Sun tours egypt it was a pleasure. Thank you!

Experience something different..😀 - The tour overall experience was nice..but hot but it was worth snorkeling for the first time..carry your snorkeling gears and swim suits otherwise you can rent it by paying the amount of 10$ approx..The lunch offered was tasty but less in quantity..water was not offered throughout the tour..Visit to Salama Canyon was nice but need to wear light clothes as it was too hot. It was one time experience whicj I enjoyed.

Not sure - I think for the price of the tour it is good but I didn't like the Guide, he was not a trustworthy person. The communication with the agency through wsp was good and fast, I did not have dollars or euros to pay the entrance to one of the places we went, I asked the agency what to do and they responded that I could pay the same amount in egp which was fine. But when the guide asked me for the money I paid him the equivalent of 20 euros in EGP (the entrance fee and the ATV) and he did not want to receive it and was upset because it was not the same according to him, acting in an aggressive manner. and I didn't know what to do about it and right in my wallet I had 20 pounds sterling and he told me that yes, he received it immediately, the pound sterling is equivalent to 23 euros, he could have given me some change but nothing, he put the money in his pocket and continued with his routine, I felt cheated and I was left with a very bad feeling all day and I couldn't enjoy the trip because of this situation. As I said before, for the price it is not bad, but be careful with this kind of situation.

Nice mountains but DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING, should be called Dahab trip with brief (30 min) stop in canyon salama. - This trip was kind of a disappointment for me. It is called Jeep Safari To Canyon Salama but even the guide told us that the main atraction is snorkeling in Dahab so I take this name of a trip as deceptive advertising. We went from hotel in Sharm at 7:00 and at 12:00 we were ALREADY in Dahab. We made a stop in shop where you can rent the snorkeling stuff, in Dahab it is obligatory to snorkel with life vest so you have to rent the life vest eventhough you have your equipment.. everyone was already away but our driver left for like 45 minutes so we were sitting and waiting there at least 30 minutes after everyone rented the suits, vests, googles etc.. and we were nothing to do… at 12:00 we arrived to Dahab and they went snorkeling for 45 minut At 13:00 we had already lunch (pita bread with hummus and chicken with potatoes - no cutlery so you have to eat it with your own hands, which is not safe if you dont wash your hands in bottled water) That bistro is super expensive, they want like 80-100 EGP for guava juice and 60EGP for 1,5 litre of water eventhough you can buy the water in carrefour for 6 EGP 👍🏼 Meanwhile they were snorkeling (I saw the videos and there was nothing to see) I went alone to the mountains which was the highlight of the day for me. Dahab has awesome mountains right next to the sea so you can explore them, but 1 hour was not enought time to go far away. (This was my own plan, not in their plan). After lunch we rode camels, it was like 50 metres long path there and back so it is enought to get to know how it feels to ride a camel. The guy didnt even offered me to take picture of me on the camel but he didnt forget to ask for tip. Do they really think that we just throw away our money for literally nothing? 🤣🤣 At 14:00 we left the snorkeling spot and went for shopping to New Ramsew Dahab Mall which was probably and preordered place, because they were advising us to go to one specific shop with natural cosmetics and noone wanted to go there. there were like 10 shops downstairs (natural cosmetics/pharmacy store, clothes and some souvenirs) and 1 big shop in the first floor (papyrus, statues and other typical egyptian souvenirs) - I imagined something bigger, more like and bazaar. At 15:30 we FINALLY went on jeep safari. 10 minutes ride there, 30 minutes in the canyon itself and 10 minut ride back. The jeep was droven by beduin guy, it was really good, we went through dessert to the canyon which was nothing extra but it was nice. The way to the canyon was way more interesting becuase there are nice mountains where we didnt go to. The canyon should be the highlight of this trip and we were there only 30 minutes which really disappointed me - this reminded me of the typical organised trips of 60 people from travel agencies where you spend 30-40 minutes just at the toilet, you are forced to go the shop where noone wants and then you have like 1 hour for whole louvre museum. 😅 I think that people who went on this trip, organised their vacation on their own withouth travel agency to exactly avoid these things. This trip could be good but it need some changes in the itinerary. As we went with the jeep to the salama canyon we saw AMAZING MOUNTAINS not that far from us (pictures from the jeep) and it is pitty that we didnt went there. In their itinerary was more time on salama canyon than 30 minutes (i think they advertise like 2 hours). So it would be better to go there alone and see even the mountains around the salama canyon … At 16:30 we were at parking lot and started the journey back to sharm el sheikh. And in ~2 hours we arrived back so I am wondering what they did in the morning that it took us 5 hours to get to Dahab. The tourguide was really skilled, he spoke arabic, english, russian and italian (maybe even more languages). But I was there only english speaking tourist so he kept kinda forgeting on me and told me usually just the most basic instructions to know why we stop here and there and what to take with me but he was speaking with russians and italians all the time, he explained them a lot of things which he didnt explained to me. Half the trip I felt a bit redundant. the conclusion - the trip is called salama canyon and we stayed there only 30 mins - so I would give it only 1 star because of the deceptive advertising. It should be named Dahab tour with brief stop at salama canyon. But I had the option to go into the mountains in Dahab and at least enjoy it in a way I liked and because on the way home the guide told me something what he was telling them in russian and italian all day I am giving them 3 starts but this trip needs rescheduling because people who buy it here on trip advisor are usually sick of travel agencies who waste their time and give them brief stops at the highlight spots. Pitty that I can add only 10 pics so you cant see more to compare yourself the mountains in dahab, what we saw from jeep, salama canyon, snorkeling, what we ate, jeep pics etc… The picture with the rock in the middle of the path is from mountains from Dahab, not from salama canyon, other mountain pics are salama canyon - the pictures are not chronologically, they mixed up while uploading here.

Be warned - This will be as factual as possible: - the tour is operated by a different company to the intermediary through which you book it; - not all vans have seat belts; - the first activity (a camel ride) starts ~2.5h from pickup time and lasts 10min. - the camel ride is largely operated by children which indicates possible child labour; - I witnessed a handful of instances of catcalling of women (especially “hey bella!”) who are unaccompanied by a man; - the page advertises Three Pools diving site but the real site is several miles north - the Canyon diving site (per Google maps) - which is somewhat littered; - every stop includes significant pressure to purchase items at inflated prices from makeshift businesses; - we were not enjoying the experience and politely asked to leave. We were told that it was not possible for police & visa reasons. We were effectively held hostage to “the program;” - the actual snorkelling was nice but the guide didn’t speak English and I ended up getting lost. There was no safety briefing and no indication of the route the group would take. I am a strong swimmer so I was fine by myself (and happy for the short break from the high pressure environment); - do not expect to see Dahab; expect to be taken to 1 shop and told you cannot go anywhere else. Within the shop, expect the same high pressure sales tactics as the rest of the trip; - the operators will charge double if you pay for things in EGP because, according to the guide, “on the black market, $10 is E£600;” - the actual location of the canyon hike is not as advertised: it is the White Canyon, not the Colored Canyon. It’s a nice hike nonetheless;

Don't - Be warned, you will spend a lot of time waiting in a van. The van was late, the first activity took place three hours from pick-up and getting there involved two twenty minute stop-offs at places where the organisers clearly had a relationship with suppliers in order to extract more money from tourists. Everything on the tour contains a hidden extra charge with inflated prices. The camel riding stop involves a disturbing amount of child labour. The guides are generally unhelpful and refused to believe we had paid for our trip in advance and the owner rude. Think very carefully before booking this trip or using this operator.

It was a very bad experience - It's not a place worth going. The place called Canyon takes only 10 minutes to see. The guide on the tour only spoke Russian. They didn't even explain what to do at the points we stopped by and at the point we arrived for snorkeling, they tried to forcefully sell life jackets and they try to rip you off at the restaurant. It was a very bad experience for us.
