- The Marble Mountains - Marble Mountains is a cluster of five marble and limestone hills located in Ngụ Hành Sơn District, south of Da Nang city in Vietnam. The five mountains are named after the five elements: Kim (metal), Thuy (water), Moc (wood), Hoa (fire) and Tho (earth).
All of the mountains have cave entrances and numerous tunnels, and it is possible to climb to the summit of Mount Thuy. Several Buddhist sanctuaries can also be found within the mountains, making this a tourist destination.
The area is known for stone sculpture making and stone-cutting crafts. Direct rock extraction from the mountains was banned recently. Materials are now being transported from quarries in Quảng Nam Province.

- Proceed to Hai Van Pass, a beautiful spot that boasts of lush mountains, clear skies, overlooking Da Nang City, Tien Sa Port, Son Tra Peninsula and South China Sea. Positioned 500m above sea level, it’s the tallest pass in Vietnam.
- Continue traveling south to Marble Mountain, a collection of limestone and marble hills filled with caves. Explore the major caves on the mountain housing a beautiful Buddha statue in Cham style.
- Following a meal at a picturesque restaurant, continue the exploration to Hoi An Old Town.
- The day ends with a trip to the Cham Museum. Experience the stunning collection of Cham sculptures and artefacts, which date back to the 7th to 15th century. (L)

Great tour if you only have one cruise day in Da Nang - Amazing experience to visit the various sites in Da Nang and Hoi An especially the marble factory/show room, silk weaving shop and Hoi An walk about.
Our guide Thanh spoke fluent English and with his courteous driver and comfortable car made it a memorable day. Pickup and drop off at Chan May cruise terminal was easy with tasty Vietnamese lunch provided.
